Terraria planet

Its just like terraria in another game...
This probably wont happen but it would be cool!

 

What would it look like? just a planet with some corruption and a dungeon?

 

And all the NPCs too

 

not to mention the same trees and stuff... xD that would be pretty weird to see a more detailed version of the mechant and stuff though...

It could be a spoof off of it.
Rename the corruption "HUURRRuption" Make all the corrupted mobs crosseyed, silly, and change the corruption color to hot pink
Rename the jungle "Dungle" where the mud blocks are replaced with dung blocks. Replacing the shrines with golden toilets
And then make the dungeon just a brick noob shack with a little man in it who turns into a killer chicken named "EATER OF BONES" when spoken to during the day who drops an angle (not angel) statue when killed (angle statue bieng a square (the measurement tool not the shape) or triangle since terraria didn't have those.)

I'd see this as some kind of infringement upon the creativity and development already put into another game. Even as an homage to it I wouldn't want to see any glaring shrines. SB already has a lot of Terraria feel from what we've seen; would be best to distinguish itself apart from it rather than grow closer to it.

You guy are no fun at all. I like this idea, and fully support it. And from terraria, well, you remember that link hero costume? that didn't infringe on anything. make something like that.

 

Because it was approved the costume was allowed and the reason it was allowed is because tarraria was independently developed mirimoto allowed it thinking it wouldn't be a highly successful game.

 

This idea may sound good but I have to say no though. Terraria is Terraria. Sure one of the creators came from terraria to StarBound but this doesn't mean that there should be an easter egg like this about terraria. If ChuckleFish want to do so I'm actually fine but for a suggestion, it doesn't seem like it's a good idea to make a world exactly like terraria. That's like Terraria and Starbound for the price of one. (or Terraria for free if Starbound is free.)

 

I hope to dear god its not a F2P (free to play) Because then its going to have monthly subscription crap to get the better chance of having some actual fun with the game.
I also highly doubt it since they will be allowing mods... Name one F2P that allows mods... It doesn't work.
