Terraria Planet!

Alright guys, as an avid terraria player, and follower of this game, I think it would be really cool if Tiy or one of the other devs created an easter egg- Terraria!

The planet is named just like that, and looks like a regular terraria planet, with a custom background like the worlds in Terraria and the terrain. Not asking for mobs, but that would be pretty cool, you know? I personally would love a connection of "Hmm, maybe Terraria IS in the starbound universe!" But hey, What do you guys think?

 

This isn't the first Terraria easter egg thread to come up actually...

 

I wonder how many Terraria easter eggs there will be. It might be kinda neat to find a wrecked Skeletron Prime skull. (Or an active one 0_0)

 

The idea with a wrecked Skeleton Prime is actually something very awesome!

I'd only like subtle references or easter eggs such as the remains of Skeletron and such.

 

I don't particularly fancy the idea of an entire Terraria planet easter egg, there should be only subtle things if any at all. In my opinion Terraria is dated and should be left alone when it comes to Starbound but I know many people still play it and think differently.

 

could the terraria be overrun by corruption or something because it has been there for a long time

 

maybe make it a code or i dunno something thats not easy to guess

 

That would make for a nice quest upon visiting the planet. I like the fact that it would be an Easter egg, it reminds me of planets you could find in Spore, like Earth or the cube planet

 

This is actually starting to sound interesting, a rare quest leading to a corrupted terraria planet (it'd be cool to see terraria with starbound graphics) and you have to find the Dryad to cleanse the planet.

 

assuming a terraria planet is added, the music should be a remix of the classic terraria theme song, and have slimes and zombies

 

Well if it was fully corrupt it wouldn't have zombies, possibly corrupt slimes but also the eaters that flew around and the worms as well possibly.

 

could you make it that the dryad is a really old oak tree in a small haven on the surface (she's gotten older)
and also, would everything be half sized or could one of the features be that any drop in height or gain in height is 2 blocks so you have to jump over everything? that would bring painful nostalgia

 

I think the idea of a terraria based easter egg would definitely be cool. Not sure if I would want it to be as obvious as an entire planet, but I do like the idea of the skeletron prime remains hidden on a planet. Maybe have a short side quest devoted to that

 

Yeah I agree, but if there WAS an entire planet easter egg I think it should be linked to the quest I described a few posts ago.

 

I actually think a terraria easter egg planet isn't really an easter egg if 1 person has found it. he would just pass over the coordinates to everyone.

 

That's how easter eggs go, regardless.

 

Great idea, I love Terraria and that is how I got to know this game hope to see it in the full game.

 

this can be hard but here's a suggestion

I loved the 'dead skeletron prime skull' part
apart from that, how about dead Charecter who is imported from terrarria directory?
(random one if multiple, and generated if player does not have terrarria)
