terraformer mech

the terraformer mech is the normalmech, but with arm and clamps on the end of each arm, it can pick up ANY blocks within the space of 9x9 and put them somewhere else, put it into backpack of player, or destroy them,this would allow for faster terraforming while on the planet, it could also be use for melee combat as well.

 

i support this idea. just the thought of having a giant clawed mech is too great!

 

Thats not a bad idea there! The imaginations are already popping up in my head, hehe

 

You could digg a montain to the sky

 

or dig everything else to make the ground lower, making one giant mountain

Odd, seeing how this thread originated an entire month before that one.

This seems pretty neat. A heavy duty terraforming tool is mandatory to construct those epic landscapes. It should be mostly a utility vehicle, though - combat's another matter.

 

Think this would be terramorphing, not terraforming, as you're altering some terrain, not whole ecosystem and climate.

Anyways, for some reason, I like this idea, altrough engineering mech sounds somewhat... clumsy. I'd rather prefer a hovercraft that releases drones that do all the work for you.
