Greetings, me and a friend are working on a little project but we're missing somewhat of a template mod to look at when making an animated gun. I know it has something to do with a .frames file and the like. However, I like having a decent template to look at when doing this, since it helps a lot. If anyone know of any that could prove useful or can provide one themselves, please share. It would be grateful.
Well, it doesn't help since I can't even access the files. If I could, I would use the Electric Charge Gun since it has an animation to it. Idky I can't access the files, I have tried. Do you by chance know how to access the files or perhaps have them yourself that you can share?
That doesn't help at all... It's just a picture. The boxes "below" are still missing. ~Edit~ Out of curiousity, I decided to check my preferences to see if something is wrong and for some odd reason signatures were turned off... Why in bloody muffins would they be turned off?
It's interesting. Anyways, I've been working on the mod, and it is failing miserably as I have no idea why it is crashing the game. Everything looks like to be in order.
This may come a little late, but I hope you haven't given up on modding yet, because I've got something for you. It's not a template mod per se, but a collection of animated gun mods I've been making over the last two weeks: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1380280311 At first I used the charge gun's mechanic to animate them, which allowed them to be semi-automatic only, but now I've also found out how to animate "normal" guns which can be fully automatic (already used it in the AK-M) Feel free to unpack the mods and examine how I did it, but please credit me if you base something upon it.
