RELEASED Skittles Template Race Mod 3.0.4

Have you checked that your recipes have been renamed properly? The .bat file misses them for some reason. Check inside each one.

 

all the objects, boosters, effects appear properly on my ship. at least tier 0 ones. i dindt check how is it for upgraded ships. the thing is if i remove the folder "ship" from objects folder the game stop crashing from open the crafting menu on admin mode. from what i see, every file was renamed properly on the ship folder and the recipes folder

 

oh sorry nevermind, you were right. the ship folder isnt what it was causing the game crashing. it was the race flag. that one didnt change their recipe. the game was missing the files from skatestflag. Its so good to you put that speed on attention! Really! Thank you!

 

It's okay. lol Common mistake. I'm not the author of that .bat file so I can't fix it, But I know what has gone wrong.

Is it compatible to 1.3.2 version ? because when I play with my custom species mod in multiplayer with a friend, when i go to the captain chair my game crash, but when I play in solo, i don't crash. they tell me when i crash "incoming player packet has caused exception", is it my mods who cause crash ? or my friend ? (he have a loat of mods and I dowload all of his mods, like 60 mods) i create my mod during the 1.2.3 version of starbound and i change the pod deployement and the line for the captain chair. did i miss something ? please help me... i realy want to fix this.

 

What does your starbound log say? I use this template myself for new races.

and yes it is current. You shouldn't crash in your captains chair.

That has nothing to do with the template race, as it doesn't touch on player stats.

When I download it I get a file that isn't a .bat, how do I use it?

 

You can double click on a .bat file to use it. Double click on the file "BASIC_RACE_TEMPLATE_EASY_SETUP" to get started, and read the prompts.

 

WWHHHYYY Did you change the file type to .7z??????????????????????? Now I can't use this amazing resource, Can you make like a second download link that's a .zip file?

 

I changed it to make it a smaller download. Can you not use http://www.7-zip.org/download.html ?

 

I don't like to use programs like that, It's much simpler to use .zip... I stand by my previous suggestion of a secondary download link.
