Would be nice being able to craft a teleport/item machine that only worked on your home planet, i have multiple big structures in my home and would be nice having a fast way to reaching points instead of taking a tour along the whole world, maybe you could add teleport spawns or have multiple of them,(maybe a menu with the avaiable placed teleports with a editable label, so you know where are you teleporting)
Oh good this idea is already out there. This idea needs to be two diffrent but similar ideas. First yes your right, Quick teleportation around your home world would be great. This should be done and set up from the planet and should be like two linked teleport pads or maybe a network to pick from. Second you need to have exploration markers. Have you ever been exploring and been so lost you just need to get out but cant aford runing into the "tentical limbed mini volcano that sounds like a sheep"? Well deploying this thing should let you boost your teleportation out, then the teleportation back in.... this also would give us a great way to save our progress SINCE THE GAME DOESN'T APPROVE OF PAUSING!
Teleporters should be out there, and not limited to Homeworld (why?) Maybe even interplanetary Stargates so i can build an Interplanetary Network from my Homeworld and conquer the Galaxy... MUHAHA... no, seriously, it wouldnt have such a huge impact on the game if you think about it.
I say they should just require you to connect the two teleportal pads. That way you have to work for it but it can be anywhere.
