The collar is crazy tall first of and the eye looks very weird without the patch. I know, limitations but it has to be said. Also on a second look I see the cod plate is really small.
... I have to keep reminding myself that this is the 12 x 30 version, and I won't be able to get the helmet absolutely right on it. any opinions from you guys?
actually, the eyes are just slightly visible under the helmet. I should have the eyes showing just the slightest in detailed. I'll see how that turns out.
as you might have guessed, updates are off today. I discovered an area densely packed with delicious thanksgivingday food. there were no crumbs survivors.
hey, guys. important question. should I keep pumping out the relatively useless "detailed" sprites except by request, and focus on the 12 x 32 sprites, but also fill in the animation frames I've found? (bearing in mind that the animation frames will lead to me maybe making small .gifs) this post actually needs feedback
well, thats two for animations instead of detailed and they seem to represent a majority as I have yet to see other opinions. so I guess that decides it
thanks its only 8 frames, too the reference I'm using is this- which I took from Zain Hallows Wereshark thread. as far as I know, he found and put together all of these, so he gets props for it.
The main thing I like about it is that it doesn't look like it's repeating anywhere, it looks just like he's walking.
well that's not my work. that's actually official starbound animation frames, apparently. I don't have any for weapons so there isn't so much I can do, but I can at least make them move a little bit
not sure if I should keep working at animations, or finish scout and pyro before I completely forget about them >_> quick! someone call it!
