TB has been requested

No angst here but was there a point to that post? Blah nevermind, there is no point to any of this crap anymore. Sure hope this community is never affiliated with TB though, we're getting bad enough post-preorder as it is.

 

In all honesty I don't care. More people more money. Better product.

 

What's sad I just read that in my head agreed instantly. As soon as the game is out I'll probably ditch these forums for good. Quality of community is already a moot point way things are now. Might as well let the biscuit roll in with his fans and see if we get an influx cash to help the devs at least.

 

I'll stick around for a while to see how it goes. Hopefully it improves once people are actually talking about their Starbound adventures and setting up fun multiplayer things to do and all that.

I don't think that this thread was required to be made. I don't even think that there needed to be an argument about a REVIEWER, REVIEWING a game. It's just spoiled brats that refuse to let reviewers do their job. To all that disagreed for TB reviewing the game, you need to realize that this helps the game greatly to get publicity. If TB reviewed this game and uploaded a video about this game, it is potentially earning this game millions more dollars for free, and you guys are complaining about it? Sure, he gets the game earlier, but that's what REVIEWERS do, they get the game early and create a review for the game. I don't get why people need to argue like little kids, and not let TB do his job; REVIEWING the game.

 

Why is it that everyone is on the "Why does this thread even exist" War-path? Check that attitude at the door of your man-cave. TB can just review the game when he gets it like the rest of us, OR someone who actually has the authority to get him involved thus giving him an early copy, should MAKE that call.

 

yeah its pretty much same with me. I hate TB as much as the next normal guy, but at the same time I guesssssssss he WOULD help Starbound get more money. I just hope at the very least if he gets an early version of the game he has to pay for it like the rest of us. And hopefully at least appear like he's grateful for it (I know he won't)

but whatever, like you said, I'll be out of these forums too once the game is out. (hopefully)

 

TB and Cox are the last two people you ever... ever want to make any requests of.

 

I don't want to start an argument or anything but Jesse Cox is one my favorite Youtubers. I'm not going to even fanboy but I don't see what is so wrong with him. He's a nice, funny guy who simply uploads Let's plays. He sometimes releases videos of games that are on Greenlight which aren't getting that much attention. His Terraria Let's Play with TB actually became quite popular. I know quite a few people who didn't even hear of Terraria until Jesse, which made them look in to the game and end up buying it. Also, remember that this is based on my opinions.

 

If its someone to make a game famous, it would be tobias or tobuscus from toby games, the guy is funny, made a minecraft vid where he sang the epic sword sword song. Guy is real legend. And doesn't make the habit of pissing off his viewers to boot.

 

We should totally get Dan Bull to do a rap of Starbound once the demo comes out. >_> His work:

But atleast he himself won't be extremely negative about it.

Just to tell you, this TB business started because Tiy said,"@Totalbiscuit Will do! It might not be too long before we can get a preview version of some kind to you " So, people started complaining like little kids, saying, "If he gets it, then I do!"

lol People really complain about that? That would do nothing but help put Starbound even more in the spotlight if TB talked about us. Do they want the current Starbound community to be some weird exclusive elitist clique or something?

 

Exactly! This all started from this simple tweet! People are actually complaining about Tiy's decision to get the game more popular, for free. This is why I don't get some people on these forums. He's a REVIEWER and people are complaining that he's getting a REVIEW'S copy of the game! I'm glad that someone can agree with me. I hope you have a good day!
