I'm getting a computer soon, so I won't have to only reply during school. Thanks, I wasn't sure if I remembered The Doctor's voice correctly in my head. While I was in the middle of the series, my friends would always stop me in mid-conversation and ask "Why are you doing that accent?", I would reply "What accent? That's how it sounds in my head". I think if the Tardis and/or Time Lords can't be put in, would anyone want Daleks? lol Saying "NO. No." doesn't really provide grounds/reason for it not to be put in.
Saying "They should add one" doesn't really provide grounds/reason for it to be put in. I would like to see some nice Dr. Who references but I think adding the tardis as a playable spaceship is going too far.
Well, my opinion kind of depends on how ships are used. I don't know, but if they're just used from planet to planet travel, not actual flying, I'd love to see a Tardis. But, if you can fly around in it, I'd rather not see a million Tardis' roaming a planet because it's grass is red and horizon is orange. Didn't he say there were two suns, also? I was striking up a conversation, as I knew there were Doctor Who fans. Don't worry, I was prepared to continue it, as you can see. If you wanted, I could go back and add every reason I've said thus far.
I don't know about a Tardis directly, but I know that being able to harness space-bending technology would be of great use to my cargo hold. And probably my brig, but that's another story. The option of adding the technology to a door attatched to a metal box, decaled to resemble a police call box would be purely aesthetic. I say yea.
Well, what if you couldn't go to a place on demand. I don't watch the series excessively but dosen't the Tardis take The Docter to a random place in time? So how about you can go on a trip with The Docter, or just in the Tardis by yourself, to explore some magic land being at the risk of not being able to get back home. Also, what I if you could go to your home planet, the one that got destroyed at the beginning of the game, and learn about the planet's inevitable future. You could hear rumors from citizens, politicians, and drunks about the race that is trying to destroy man? It would be a good source for some side quest to help out the locals of that period and planet and get rewards and maybe even followers.
I definetly would enjoy some easter eggs for anything Dr. Who related in any way; be it a Tardis, a sonic-screwdriver, or the Doctor himself. I can agree on not making any easter eggs too importent to central gameplay to avoid "A Million and One References the game" for any thing added in for 4th wall breaking enjoyment purposes.
What if one day, The Dicter crashes the Tardis into your space station. For a while you will be able to talk with him, buy a sonic screwdriver and maybe even do a side quest.
Sometimes it took him to random times/places, but that was either because, A.) The heart of the Tardis deemed it necessary B.) There was a fixed point in history that was in danger C.) He barely knew how to correctly fly it D.) They needed a cool plot for the episode. That would be a cool sidequest, interesting at the least.
I read on a Tardis grows from coral. What if you could grow you own Time and Relative Deminsion in Space machine! Bad thing is that it sometimes takes century's to grow.
Where did you read that!? I've only watched the "new" Doctor Who. Is that from the older ones, or are you bullsh***ing me? lol That just doesn't make sense at all!
I'll do it later, I don't have a computer right now. I use the school's computer to check this everyday. I will be getting a new one within a week. That just doesn't seem realistic that a Tardis is grown from coral. It's all mechanic.
But you did say that one reason that the Tardis goes to random places is because the "Heart of the Tardis deemed it necessary". That is not mechanical. Unless it is an artificial heart...
Good job with you new computer! I have a Mac so I had get a program to get Terraria on my computer. Also, my computer's graphic chip wasn't strong enough to run Portal 2. '-'
By Heart of the Tardis I meant the Time Vortex that is in the center of the Tardis meaning that when there was a danger in time or a danger to time that it would take him anyways. In one episode, the Heart of the Tardis is actually implemented into a living body and The Doctor gets its (Or her, as she told him) help to retrieve his stolen Tardis and get out of the space between dimensions. i don't remember what it's called. Anyways, even if the Time Vortex is living, the Tardis itself is not.
