novel idea i know i think we should get a special tool that allows us to tame monsters.(does not work on bosses)
Well, I think you can elaborate more as more sets of monsters are revealed. Like for example, PopTop Treats for taming pop tops, and data for that viral things. And what if you CAN tame bosses, but they would appear mini and slightly weaker.
Lol I would love to see how you tame a krabmikaze let alone keep it from killing it's self after you tame it.
Well, Perhaps you can use a ranged bait to capture it (Box with a stick supporting it up, and food inside.) It can spew bombs instead of blowing up after you tame it.
Why didn't I think of the box with a stick with food inside its the most successful trap mentioned in the Starbounder's Guide To The Galaxy.
Oh well, I simply meant that the box and stick with food combo had succeeded in catching its prey. You see I merely asked what could the box/stick and food combo not catch. I never said anything about the catch being alive necessarily.
No, I think we should be able to tame bosses, we just need a bigger box and a bigger stick and maybe like a whole pie... instead of just a slice. Boxxy needs a friend I will get a box and she will be called Svendette.
I think that most types of creatures should have specific ways to immobilize/tame them for example Poptops would need some sort of meat flavored chewing gum so they won't chew on you and Krabmikazes would have to be paralyzed so they don't explode in your face.
