I appreciate CA's idea of a world beyond your awareness or control, but a meteor just demolished an iridium fruit tree in the middle of a forested area that will be a 5 year eyesore demanding constant attention to restore. Not OK with me; so un-fun. There should be a way of preventing Meteor damage. Maru's a lookout once you 8-heart, or the witch turns it into harmless jelly, _something_. Obviously late game, but not never ever be free of that.
