Taggergun, Labeller, whatever you wanna call it. It is used to add a descriptive name to useable objects like storage or Buttons. So you craft it just like the painter or wire tool. To name the object, you "shoot" it with the gun, then a window will appear you can type in the name. Then if you hold your mouse over the tagged object, or if is being auto selected, then the title will appear in a text-bubble or whatever works. This could indeed be useful to tell people what Buttons do, and what these storage units are for. We will however have to be careful not to make it annoying, that when we walk thru our house our screen gets spammed with annoying speech-bubbles everywhere as we pass. So the Speech-bubble will have to be discreet somehow, and not Hide objects behind it.
Would love to, but I am no modder, unforunately ^^ But no, I would prefer this being an official addition to the game. Do you think so too?
Would be an awesome addition indeed, but I am afraid it's not neccessary as most people keep their chests organized using the "room" technique. Instead, I'd suggest adding a sign (of course it would be tiered, heck, I could even make a mod out of this!)
But signs aren't cool, plus they would probably have to display as a speech-bubble anyway. Also wouldn't look slick to have signs next to every button in your command-center. Labels are Way cooler.
I want this so much. As someone said in the Signs suggestion thread, it would be a good system to have a universally nice-looking labeling system.
