Switch version keeps crashing

I've been playing stardew valley for the switch for the last few days but suddenly one day when I tried to launch my save file the game crashed, giving me an error message, and taking me back to the switch home screen. Launching game again caused an instant crash and my switch asking me to redownload the game which I did. I tried a brand new save file and it worked until I closed the game to play another one. When I went back to stardew I ran into the same exact issue. I dont know what's causing it and I dont know how to fix it. Please help!

Edit: The game now crashes upon launch every time. I have no access to the menus or even the main title screen.
