I was wondering if anyone use any other mods with this mod. Do any work? I'd like to add "Fully Customizable Ship" so you could eventually fix you ship, though, since this is a total overhaul that might not work. Thanks.
Not sure, but you could try. If you backup your starbound folder and try it out, worst case scenario the game won't start or is bugged with both mods active... You won't get the full survivalist experience with a fixed ship though!
Hei, digger modden din. I just had a character rollback today, 6 hours of play lost. Not sure it's related to your mod or what caused it, but figured I'll let you know. I should mention that I created the character while your mod was activated and played it successfully on a server with the mod.
hallo! takk.
Gir spillet god ekstra spenning. Aner ikke hva som skjedde. Er modden kun klientside?
I am currently working on lots of additional content to the mod. I will host a server at a later stage probably. It is possible for anyone to host a survivalist server though.
You can find ash where there are bones. Bones are biomes randomly spawning both under ground and on surface of planets. This will be changed in the coming update though. There will be dangerous planets with the resources you need.
newquest.wav and quest_event.wav are the worst goddamn sounds in the history of sound engineering. Jesus christ.
nope, not supposed to be like that. It's a result of my early modding errors Will fix that, but my current priority is badass monsters, blood effects, progression and biomes. Got so much work to dooooooooooo!
I really think your difficulty curve is a little too steep because of a lack of offensive options (let us get a spear or a stone hammer besides being stuck with a branch and bow). Monsters are only dropping 20 survival points (and not from every monster) and the basic crafting table is 750. Super-fast monsters are absolutely a handful with the limited options. I was recently swarmed (off screen aggro) by two melee birds and two super fast monsters simultaneously and there was practically no chance to survive out in the open when two of them were moving twice my speed and hitting for 1/3rd health. If I had been at something like 600 survival points and pretty close to a table, I'd have been pissed being bumped back down to 360. It seems like one step too far into the realm of tedium. Wooden/stone spike traps or spear walls could also be an option (they'd need to break after dealing X amount of damage).
Huh, I just gave the mod a try with compact crops installed and my wheat seemed to be growing. (well, it was growing until a rock suddenly fell from the sky and destroyed it.) I'd also second that the early game seems pretty rough right now. I spawned and got immediately attacked by a ton of monsters before I even got a chance to find any weapons or gather resources. Also, yeah, that is quite a bit of money needed even to get the first crafting table and such.
Yeah. I know it's hard. But the bush amor has increased stats, and the death bow is really good against flying monsters. The point is to craft these items first. Did you do that? When it comes to flying monsters in the night, they are supposed to be very hard and agressive. You should be very careful in the dark, stick to digging for some ores or something close to your camp.
i feel that this mod makes the game in general very hard, not only for the gathering of points, but for the fear of the predators outside (and i mean it in a good way, loved the feeling of fear of being in the open of the early game ) and had to pass though the nights in a hole to survive. although i agree with FLUX-YOU, it would be cool to have some traps to gather the points faster. Drops dont disapear since last patch update, you could make it so that a placeable trap instakills a ground monster droping the loot. really looking forward to the next update xD ps. an idea: a planet with fewer monster, but THEY ARE ALL MINI-BOSSES
