Notice Supporting Starbound

Yeah, they said a preorder would probably be out.

 

They said they might do a preorder, but they haven't said anything else about it yet. I would guess that there would be a 40% chance of a preorder.

 

I still like those odds better than a 0% chance. Although I guess if they don't have one, it will be worse because they said that they might.

 

Although some companies make pre-ordering available to help them release their games, Starbound is most likely going to be released through digital distribution. Also I don't expect any special items to be given to those who pre-order, so in my opinion I don't see any reasons to do that. If you want to support Starbound, you can buy Wanderlust (what I did, by the way, so I can sleep easlily saying this ). It would make sense, if you wanted to get your DVD with the game for sure and as soon as possible, but with digital distribution, you are able to buy your game right after the release and recive it immediately...

 

True. I also bought Wanderlust btw, I was just kind of hoping that we'd get something like the bunny that pre-orders got for Terraria but I guess that was a physical copy rather than a digital release.

 

I bought Terraria on Steam... after that bunny was released, I had to search quite a lot to find out, what's that collector's edition. It turned out, that collector's edition, along with physical copy (and that bunny) was released quite later...

And that bunny doesn't change game game experience nearly at all, so on the one side that's good, on the other I won't actually mind, if I don't get it .

 

Yeah, I guess this is not the type of game where you're going to have exclusive items and what not. I'm sure it will be great nonetheless.

 

I agree totally with both the way you guys are giving us to support you, and also with Neko's idea of raining fish being in the game as an extremely rare event.

 

I'm sure that game is good, but I personally have no interest in playing it.

I'd definitely pre-order Starbound if given the chance though.

yea... Wanderlust is a lot of fun... but you'd better bring some friends to play with you..

 

Wanderlust is amazing! Really enjoyable, and I love how I can support Starbound by buying it! 2 great deals for me.

 

There are few things I want more then Starbound right now, 1) A cure for my step-father's cancer 2) $400,000 3) for my fiance to quit bugging me to play Mass Effect 3 with him. Other then those I'd gladly pay now for Starbound 'next Tuesday'. As for Wonderlust...I'm glad my money helped to support Starbound...thats it.

Is this still going on Tiy? I just got this game yesterday, I really hope some of my cash went to supporting you guys. I'd buy a million copies, but im in college so that wouldn't go over very well with my allowance..
