Well here I have another suggestion for everyone on the forums. Sun burn and Sun stroke! You are walking in the desert, The sun is scorching the land around you. You suddenly begin to feel faint. You fall onto the ground, and you black out. If you spend too much time in the desert, or any sunny place or anywhere hat has a certain temp., you can faint, or worse. You can also get a sunburn that could lead to your stats getting a temporary de-buff. If you faint, some of your items might disappear. (stolen by creatures) But with all bad stuff in games, you can prevent this in a few ways. Use a water towel to prevent the sun stroke. You won't be as how, but you do have to wear it on your head. You also make sunscreen that you can prevent sunburn with. Just use zinc! (and plastic, water, 25 different chemicals and something that you could find in a dumpster) What do you think about this idea? Tell me and give more ideas! -Uig
Any sunny place? I don't think that would be very smart, I think you should start blacking out at a certain temperature, not if the place is sunny.
People don't seem to understand that you don't need realism elements in a game like this. I say keep it out.
I think many people have a very different idea in their head of what they expect this game to be, from what it will be... That isn't to say the game won't still be awesome, but it is not going to be a hyper-realistic survival game with every feature you can dream of. The idea is good and creative, but doesn't really fit this game I think...
The idea is great, but this is a futuristic and highly advanced ,in a technological sense, world(s). I would think they have technology whether it be envirosuits or some sort of implant that would regulate their core temperatures. Though in the extremes I could see this working, for instance if you were on a planet within a certain proximity to a star similar to Mercury (realistically you would probably disintegrate, but hey this is the future!)
Any planet that is a certain distance from the sun should have certain specs to it. Too close to the sun and it could be a desert world. You can combat the hot sun rays buy using a cooling unit (AC) in your base. Or maybe a suit that keeps you cool with an inbuilt AC. Or you could be more primitive by having a towel and wetting it at your sink in a base or in a lake. But if you do wet it in a lake or pond there is a chance you can retract a virus. You should test the waters first.
