My suggestion? See if you can compress your files into multiple zip files, password them, upload/email them to yourself, then create a separate account (like a guest account through windows). Then delete the old profile.
THIS....plus it doesn't hurt to make use of DROPBOX which is pretty much an online external harddrive with a few gigs to help out.

The problem is that my important files take up so much space that I don't think I can upload anything that size, and it will probably take forever to download it. I got a part of the "Zeroaccess" rootkit dropper. In fact, I have [one last] trick in my sleeve to beat that virus, before I reinstall windows. I do hope this saves me all the hardwork in back-upping.

May I suggest trying out Microsoft Security Essentials to see if that would fix it, that is, if you don't already use it or something better than it. Also, can you still download and install things with this virus?
If you're computer-savy or have someone you know who is, you could try using a live-cd to get rid of the virus. The problem is that you need to restart your computer to try the live-cd, and if it doesn't work you have no guarantees Windows will start afterward :-/
I've actually been using that, although it didn't help much at all. But anyways, my last trick [which was not reinstalling Windows] somehow worked and fixed the registry keys and removed the virus. I don't know if it's still there, only in a different manifestation, but I'm positive it's gone for [good]. My anti-virus won't work now, though. :\ Meh, I don't care, it was a jerk to me anyways. It called me flat!
\o/ Do try out to install Microsoft Security Essentials though. It's free, as long as you have a legitimate version of Windows. I've been using that for a while and it's actually a pretty good antivirus. But anyways, good to know you won't lose your work
How much space were we talking about? usb sticks are cheap, you could just grab a bunch of those Also, Stop Anti-Spyware and Malware Bytes are both awesome. Just saying. I had a virus recently rip through my antivirus, my professional fancy antivirus, and rip it to shreds... and those guys just obliterated the virus. It was one of those stupid annoying fake virus scanner viruses that prevents processes from opening. I don't know if that helps you at all... but they're both free. And I'm super patient, I wasn't expecting a runner up sketch... so whenever your computer isn't being a total jerk to you is fine. Should I pm you to give you details whenever you're ready?
Had both of those, but they didn't work Kaspersky took them down though :0 So I'm fine for now. But yeah, you can PM me the details whenever, so I can put it in my to-do.
I had one of those. Twice. One time, the virus just dissapeared out of itself, the other time, I had to download anti malware, which is bugging me eversince about the fact that both yhe try-period is over and I should update it
