are the suggestion threads actually being seen by mod's? and will any of them even be added? If not, then that kinda defeats the point of a suggestion thread in my opinion xD! I was wondering is all thanks for any answer given!
Part of me is hopeful that they do, but the other part of me thinks that they hardly ever read it at all. Which, would be a massive shame. The suggestions sub-forum is a gold diamond unobtainium mine of good ideas, if you have the patience to sort through the lazily posted ones to find them.
Mods do monitor the threads, but devs are the ones who decide what goes in the game, not mods. Considering how much the devs have encouraged giving ideas I'm positive that they check suggestions. However at this point they are not looking for new ideas to implement, but instead aiming to finish off the necessary features to get the game out for us. If you have an idea, that section is the best and only way to get it out for the devs. They created that section for that very purpose and if they choose not to look in there there is no other way they'd be taking suggestions anyway.
Lol, dirty Tiy Anyways, I seem to recall this issue being brought up once and I remember, I believe it was Ordona (don't quote me on this) who said that the Suggestion topics do indeed get looked at. It can be concluded that if they find something interesting there, they'll put it to use. I think it's worth considering that sometimes, even if they don't use a suggestion 100%, it might still contribute to the creativity flow and that's always a good thing. ^^
very true! BUT! they're plenty there that's quite good! honestly, I would love to see some Dev suggestions! things they the devs ask the community for guidance on the idea! is this a good idea? xD if no then I'll shut up now xD
It's definitely a good idea. In a way, they do something similar to this already through contests. However, should they ask the community directly for some ideas (which I personally would like. Maybe votings could be conducted to see how the majority felt towards the matter being suggested), it's worth noting that they'd still maintain their own style. With that, I mean that they could still modify the suggestion altogether rather than accept it as it is, should they not be entirely certain about it.
