Suggestions - Windowed Fullscreen, Save Window Location & More

    1. Windowed Fullscreen - You guys need to add windowed fullscreen / borderless window - Whenever I tab out of fullscreen I go back to windowed mode and it gets a little annoying to have to go back in the menu etc and re-enable fullscreen

    2. Saved Window Location- When I open my inventory and move my window off the the left it should save it there after I close and re open it. I constantly have to re-position my window off the the left because it always goes back to default location in the middle of the screen.

    3. Duck while underwater - Whenever there is a breakable item underwater that is only 1 block tall I can't hit it with a 1 hand sword, usually on land I would just duck and attack but in the water we cannot do this.

    4. Zoom - Add some more zoom options, I would like an option between medium and furthest option; also I'm not sure if there is one, but I'd like a way to swap between zoom levels with out going into menu like ALT + Wheel in / out or something.

    5. WILL EDIT AND ADD MORE AS I THINK OF THEM

    I like your idea of an Alt + mouse wheel to adjust zoom. Also, I'd love to have an option to make the UI larger independent of the screen resolution.

    Well for the first one you can actually resize the window just by dragging it's corners.
    Everything else are pretty good ideas.

    I know you can resize it, I'm talking about when you are in FULLSCREEN and alt + tab out it goes to windowed mode. I want it to stay in fullscreen, easiest way to achieve that is windowed fullscreen or borderless window which is essentially windowed mode but hides all title bars etc and the task bar.

    I was just recommending that you enlarge it so it covers your whole screen, but whatever floats your boat mate.

    Hey look!

    It's a suggestions sub forum! Whoever would've thought it.

    I'm really bad at dropping hints, I know.

    is there ANYONE that likes where the default window position is? It shouldnt even be there in the first place.

    Thank you for link I had no idea, maybe next time you could be less sarcastic and be more constructive and helpful.

    I know what you mean but that doesn't cover the whole screen task bar and window title still shows.

    This is slightly annoying, but if you are in Windows, you can just hit F11 to go back to full screen instead of ticking the box in options.

    Alt+Enter support to switch between fullscreen and windowed would be awesome. It's a common shortcut on Windows (at least).

    Edit: Saw above post--immediately headdesked.

    On the other hand, I was helpful and sarcastic at the same time - because your idea is more likely to find purchase with people if you put it in the right forum ;)

    You can use Autohotkey to make it a borderless fullscreen.

    I have a little script I bind to F12 to do this.

    It works in most things that don't have BF but not everything. Seems to work well in the OpenGL version of Starbound but not the DirectX version.

    Code:
    #SingleInstance Force
    #Persistent

    F12::

          WinSet, Style, -0xC40000, A
          WinMove, A, , -0, -0, %A_ScreenWidth%, %A_ScreenHeight%

    return

    This effects the frontmost window.

    First it sets the border. then centers the window and fills the screen according to your desktop resolution.

    If you want it to be a different key just replace F12 with whatever.

    You can download Autohotkey here: http://www.autohotkey.com/

    You can run it in a portable app if you don't want to install it.
