Suddenly

So I was exploring a frozen planet when suddenly I found a Floran doing this.

He continued to do this "Dance" for about 3 minutes before he finally stopped and walked back to his post.

 

It's a free planet. He can do what he wants.

He's photosynthesizing the hell out of that sun, though.

 

He's obviously plotting some nefarious scheme against all Hylotl kind!

 

I think hes just glitched/bugged

I think (dont remember day 1 beta starbound that well) when starbound just came out , there was this bug where you dig and sometimes you get stuck inside tiles or something.

They kinda fixed that(?) and it doesn't happen anymore but... maybe its the resurfacing of the "GOT YOU STUCK" tiles (npc exclusive)

or maybe its intentional

You know there are weirdo's out there in the world, maybe they're just trying to make starbound "realistic"(?)

 

I know I don't need to say this, but........duh.

It's just the Floran mating dance. He finally gave up after a while as it's quite taxing on their planty bodies to do it for too long.

 

Gotta keep warm somehow.

Unsure but I think we still do get stuck, not from digging though, more like pushed into the gap, or well that is what I experienced in multiplayer...hmm...

Could be a 10 second tom moment. where goes to doing what done, then walks off forgetting done, and continue the cycle over again.

 

Its logic circuits are stuck trying to decide whether to go for the readily accessible copper, or stab the plant in front of it.

Instead of, y'know, getting out of the cold like any reasonable sentient.

 

I think it was trying to mate with that flower.
