My question is will there be storms because there are so many types of storms maybe there could be solar storms that could happen at your space station so think they would be annoying but if the game is easy it is no fun this would be a random thing like blood moons from terraria so you mite like this idea or not so think.
hope you like the idea any more ideas are welcome on this topic also sorry about any spelling errors and it may seem small but think about the idea. Thank you for your time!!!

There will be weather; in fact, the devs have stated that you can create weather-controlling buildings to control the weather. I believe that this would include storms, although I'm not sure about solar storms.

In fact, I don't even know what those are

No. I mean, weather of planets? Cool. Some special periods? Why not, if reasonable.

Still, I'll rant against solar storms:

Effects of any decent solar storm reaching a space station would be a game over. We had a solar storm's flare reaching somewhere near Earth about 150 years or so ago and it led to, quote: "Telegraph systems all over Europe and North America failed, in some cases even shocking telegraph operators. Telegraph pylons threw sparks and telegraph paper spontaneously caught fire. Some telegraph systems appeared to continue to send and receive messages despite having been disconnected from their power supplies."

And it was on Earth. Affecting rather resistant, crude devices, barely something one could call electronics nowadays. Now, think of something like that on a space station, where I suspect the effect of such would be even greater. You'd get everything fried. Including life support and possibly living beings. Hell, our civilization IRL is pretty much done, at least for a horrible, chaotic period of time if such thing happens again without people ready to hide and deploy Faraday's cages.

Perhaps rain could make puddles of liquid?
How about acid rain, and maybe things could rust and seize up?

Maybe wind could blow you back and slow you down, HEY, WIND COULD BLOW PROJECTILES AROUND AND WHEN YOU ARE FALLING!
Also there could be lightning that sets things on fire and conducts electricity through metal and wires and you could have lightning conductress. You could get electricuted if you are struck or are touching metal or wires that get struck.

Well you wouldnt get killed the way it sounds but have to star back from scratch or resupply the place again.

I very much assume you would get killed this way. After all, operators of primitive machines using some electricity during aforementioned event were shocked. Now, consider what would happen in a place far more exposed to such storm, where crewmembers are literally covered by hull laced with electronics, have electronics in their suits, their personal items etc. Not to mention that the station is one of the core elements where lot of gameplay will take place and having it damaged further to the point of being just metal shell full of charred remains, no matter if you'd escape it in time or not would basically be a game-stopper.

Yes i get what i said was wrong but what if most of the stroms happen while your out adventureing

Then if they reach the station it's game over anyway because you're stranded on a planet and the station is gone, probably unsalvageable - it could be a nice development of the story perhaps but it would be completely different story than the one in the making currently.
