You both use "tab" so when you are in a chest, your mod overwrites it's feature. Would it be possible to add a keybind option to change it? I'd love to have it be on mouse button 4 or something.

 

Yeah, I second this, can you make the key rebindable? Also make it so you scroll through the selected hotbar instead of the whole hotbar?

 

Could also have the keybind disable whenever you are accessing a chest.

 

@Tyrindor @CJoker3221 I will completely rewrite the mod for Storm once there is a stable release. It makes no sense for me to add additional features to the SMAPI version.

I have no idead what you mean. You can cycle through your hotbar with the mousewheel.

 

If you're using the gamepad, you can use the trigger buttons to scroll left and right through your selected hotbar.

 

By cycle as in, you cycle the selected hotbar with the item below it in the inventory with the cycle button

For example, the first hotbar is selected, so I'm wondering if I can just cycle through that ONE section of the inventory instead of the whole hotbar, is it plausible?

 

Yes. For example, holding a modifier key and pressing a hotkey will cycle just that hotkey with the next item down in the list. That way you can, say, put a weapon in the first slot of each row and cycle between just that column.

 

Can you please add a "deposit all items into chest, but only items that currently exist in that chest" feature with a customizable keybind? A smart deposit basically. SmartMod does it, but the author doesn't seem to want to port to storm.

I can't imagine this is a very hard thing to add, and it a huge quality of life improvement at the end of each day when you want to deposit everything neatly into your chests.

I have tested the mod with 1.05 and I can safely say that InventoryRotator is compatible with SV 1.05 and Storm 0.1.1.

@Tyrindor I'm sorry, but no. You will have to wait for SmartMod to be updated to Storm.

It might not work anymore and it also doesn't have rebindable keys.

 

Update for cycling through your selected inventory column.
