RELEASED [Storm] and [SMAPI] TimeSpeed Mod--Configurable Day Lengths

As of now, there is sadly no indication at all at what speed time is running or if time is frozen. It's a feature I want to request

Is there anyway I can disable the keybinds to alter time in-game? I alt-tab a lot, but the stuff I type into other windows seems to affect it and it ends up randomly faster or slower or frozen, so I'd like to just not be able to adjust it in-game at all.

 

This or a way to customize the keybindings would be very nice. I'm using another mod that wants to use the "B" key and is rather annoying when i want to keep the game paused.

haven't noticed the keys affecting the game when it's not the focused window... i'll have to try it out next time i load up.

 

I'm having a strange issue where the time ticks aren't actually being changed. It's always going at seven, no matter how many times I smash , or ., and I know the mod is still working because N will freeze time, and time is frozen inside mines and buildings.

The mods I do have are in the image provided.

 

What if you chance the time ticks in the config file? Does that make it change in the game?

 

No dice mate. Even timed it using my phone, and they still tick by in seven seconds. Left it at the default 14, put it to 21, no difference. Even hit B and it made no difference.

 

Hmm... That is strange. Right now, the only thing I can think of is maybe something is out of date. Do you have the latest version of everything? (The game, SMAPI, and the mod)

 

Wow. The B/N key thing took me completely by surprise, I came here because I thought the mod was bugged.
How about adding a small notification when a "special" key is hit? In my case I must've done so by mistake.

Apart from this, I love it.

 

If I'm not mistaken, time is not affected in custom areas such as those added by
[Sweet FarmCave] - Your FarmCave more Sweety!

Is there an easy fix for this?

 

The game's bugging out. At some point in the day, the time would suddenly freeze. Everything's up to date for me

 

I've had that happen several times, too.
Since I've been futzing with various mods and I keep deleting and creating saves it's not a big deal now, but later it may be.

 

I have the "time freezing bug?" thing too. If you use the original config file ( with the 14 tick) there is an easy way to temporary fix it just press B (the restore config button) this seem to "refresh" the mod and time will work again. Of Course it will then tick in 14!
I'm using the SMAPI Version

I have installed the SMAPI 0.40.0.
It's all there, where it should be. But, no matter what time I set in TimeSpeed, it continues to run as usual.


I run it through the API.

1. What do you have your time tick length set to?
14, 21,70,700 it is no running
2. Does it still occur if you remove my time mod?
Not tested
3. Does it still occur if the tick length is set to 7?
yes
4. Did this occur upon saving or upon loading your save?
yes

The 'Timespeed' folder actually needs to be placed in the "...AppData/Roaming/StardewValley/Mods" - folder for it to function correctly.

Apologies in advance for a simpleton's question, but I'm new to this mod thing and made an account here just to ask - apart from the pre-assigned hotkeys, how do I actually edit the settings for this mod? (i.e. freeze time when in the mines, etc.)?
