stop deleting peoples posts

getting real tired of these "admins" just going on a rampage deleting posts just because they have the ability to do so... its getting old and vey very annoying

what posts have been deleted? They don't do it at random...

This seems totally legitimate and this thread can only end well.

 

I for one am very glad they delete those. they are useless and crowd up the forum. We don't need 300 threads about the same thing, and we don't needs 20 comment in a row only contributing "cool, i did that too" or "hi" when the thread isn't looking for that.

Mods can enforce the rules by moderating content. It's their job.

 

I think you need to make a better and clearer example. The only posts I noticed vanishing were some of Crimsonwings in the Disappointment about starbound devs topic, and those weren't constructive anyway so he could of deleted them himself.

 

Hasoasan, I have no doubts it is due to the posts being disrespectful and/or against forum rules. Perhaps you're the one on a "rampage"?

 

They don't do that. Admins delete posts that are not relevant to the Original Post of the thread, usually ones that are pointless arguments between people in that thread. Or yes, alternatively, they lock them. I don't think this alone warrants you making a thread to complain about it. If you had some form of evidence to suggest an admin was doing their job improperly then maybe, but all you've really had to contribute is 'Stop deleting posts please.'

I just think if you were to make a thread like this you should at least provide some form of proof of misconduct.

no they LEAVE the off topic crap and remove (not even lock) anyone that shows their opinion gets locked
