I saw people were online but I restarted it to make sure its working for everyone. If you're trying to connect to the private server, the IP redirects to the public as our private is down until we can buy a new dedi ($20-$40)

 

How's everyone liking everything? Any suggestions?

 

I'm a bit bothered that the server has custom quests that spawn piles of loot on people for no reason, It nearly crashed me the first time and effectively ruined my attempt at legitimate server play.

dude its a modded server, I stated that in the OP :/ I don't know why you'd join if you wanted a legit game

 

can we get more hats or there only certain ones we can get

 

With the recent update, I've decided that I'm going to stop updating the server. I'll gladly lend this server to anyone who will maintain it and do the modding, but as of right now, I don't have the time, nor the drive to want to maintain it. With the impending doom that is updates every day, I'd see spending 1-2 hours a day alone updating the server for every small change that occurs and as a college student, this is pretty over the top for me. Also, seeing how there's little interest in it as anything other than a bad version of aMannus's Creative Mode mod where people join for 20 minutes and leave to never come back and I don't see any money in donations coming in to help pay for the server's costs, I'm left with little choice. Like I said, if theres any other servers out there that'd like to merge that have the ability to maintain it, have their own dedi to host it, and just need someone to do the modding, I'll gladly merge, but other than that, you can consider the server down for the remaining future. I LOVED being able to run this server and push what a server can do modding wise to benefit the community and hope I can come back and do it again sometime in the future!

tl;dr The server is dun unless someone else wants to run it

 

Sooo... first. you say you need 1-2 hourse for every little detail... Save a file with the part of the server that must get reseted, as it was at the start. When it comes to the reset yust change all those lines in the universe folder. That should work and take... 2 min?

If only I would had money... but I am only a student... depeding of parents sucks.

 

Yeah I get maybe 1-2 hours a day to myself if I'm lucky and need to buy food instead of paying for servers

Like I said, if any of the big servers who HAVE the money and time to keep it up, can have all my files and me to do the mods if they want! I just can't do all the other stuff

Well my server doesn't have community either but does it need to ^^?

I love this game so much so I felt I needed a server. Players will come and go but some will stay .

Although I don't look forward to when I have to pay xD.

 

I feel like this server did have a small community but I wasn't doing them justice having no staff and no one on to help except me when I could find the time.
I love this game equally but felt it starting to get old so I quit before it became like minecraft for me where I overplayed it to the point that I hated it. I was able to sustain a server for 3 months via donations so it was somewhat of a small miracle I lived this long, but nonetheless paying did suck



Figured I'd bump this in case any big named server owners for this or other games felt like having a popular server and a modder on the team (me) plus the 2nd highest viewed thread on the forums all for free as long as they can provide a server for the forseeable future for it and a home for the server

 

Ah, my server is a 15 player server. I wanted that number myself. I'm a dedicated fucker so I keep it up to date and fresh 24/7. Even went up from bed 2 times to fix a crashing issue hah.

Maybe I will bump it to 20 but honestly thats the kind of server I've always wanted. I'm not really into 100 player slots .

 

yeah I like small servers, but I've honestly always been into big ones! I love the feeling of having hundreds of people using something I made or something I helped make! I've done the same thing for my server too, don't worry. Pulled an all nighter and slept through class during finals review so I could catch the update in early december so my users could be on the server within seconds of updating
