steam sale, how to get allerted?

    i own the game in steam alredy, but i wish to get notified when the game goes on sale, so i can buy it for friends as well.
    how can i get a notification/email when Starbound goes on sale ?

    to op, as far as i know it, you cant get steam to alert you for sales, you can however wishlist it, and check regularly
