Bug/Issue Steam Overlay not working, please help!

Ok so this is problem I have for quite some time now. Not long ago, after installing SMAPI, my steam version of stardew valley stopped working with steam overlay. I didn't download any mods into the game because I'm not a huge fan of modding, so i dont even know why i got smapi on the game in the first place, so i deleted it, except the overlay problem stayed. What should I do?
I'm really sad because I like taking screenshots of my things and I also like to being able to shift tab to see the discussions tab without having to press alt tab.
I hope someone can help me, i'll be really grateful!

Things i've already done:
Reinstalling the game,
Verifying the game cache,
Resetting the startup configuration,
Opening the game as admin,
Launch config

 

Anyone? I'm commenting because I really don't wanna be ignored here. :\

 

I too have had this same issue, I can't take pictures using Steam and my achievements have not unlocked Steam-side for some time, I do not recall what even caused it in the first place. I do hope a fix is found for this soon!
