i'd love to see stats from consumables stack, like when i use an eggplant parmesan (+1 mining, +3 defense), i can also use a roots platter (+3 attack) without losing the buffs i already had makes cooking more useful, and we can safely use more than 1 kind of course if first using +3 defense and then +2 defense, it either overwrites it, or will stay, but we get the +2 after the +3 has stopped (like if it has 5 seconds left, you get +2 after the 5 seconds, i guess overwriting is easier to code, so that'd be better ps. if it is the last choice i gave, the timer of the next same stat buff, would also countdown even if not in effect yet so +3 defense has 5 seconds left, the +2 that comes after, will be shorter, due to being there already EDIT: i may not have been very clear, but in case someone doesn't get it: the buffs don't stack on top of each other, so no "+2 and +3 defense = +5 defense"
This sounds really cool to me! It would make Skull Cavern more viable as a late game consideration for regular.attempts if I could stack a lucky lunch and a crab cake. That speed and defence with +3 luck would be awesome. Although it would be a little OP. Maybe if the ability to do this was locked behind one of the skill levels? Like if you had to have a lv. 8 in both farming and combat to do this. Something like that would be really cool and might give people a reason to experiment with different skill choices and combinations if those had an effect on it also.
even better, in my opinion maybe even just 2 cookings you made yourself (and maybe on level 8-10 farming+combat) working together, would be nicer 2 being max, so you can't use lucky lunch+eggplant parmesan+roots platter OR making it count the amount of buffs, and set it to the 3 latest example: you use roots platter, giving +3 attack, then 1 lucky lunch, adding +3 luck, BUT THEN you take eggplant parmesan which gives +1 mining and +3 defense, making you lose the +3 attack, which was used first so if you'd use eggplant parmesan first, then the other 2, you'd only lose the +1 mining strategy required, as many buffs give something you wouldn't need in the mines and skull cavern, like + farming or such in this case, if you want a speed boost... you'd have to sacrifice one of the others.... and makes coffee better if you want anything that's NOT + defense, which crab cakes have
