Anyway, I could help if the blog has mini-sections for bloggers, so they have their own section.

 

About the Contact and Contribute links, you're right. But wanted to keep contributing to the blog with a post separate from the general contact form. This way people know for sure that they can contribute, and there's only one form. If somebody wants to contact us for anything, the could use the contact form.

Also, that exclamation point icon was meant for maintenance announcements and stuff like that since I want them to be separate, but this doesn't really work without an account, and since the blog will need no authentication, I'll remove it and maybe replace it with something more useful like a Twitter button or something.

 

Well thanks for your suggestion but that's not the point of the site. The blog will be curated by a limited number of persons. This won't turn into a platform about sharing stuff from Starbound. You can do that around the forums since this, as Tetrys pointed out, it will be a more individualistic approach.

Personally, I think it's quite a nice idea. Having an organized and visual log of neato stuff in the game is way better than wading through the forums- even if just one big "cool stuff" thread. It keeps the comments and replies to the side and focuses on the interesting stuff.

I would like to go on record as saying, "Please, don't." It may not really serve a purpose, but I think it adds some character. However, I would also like to say that I'm a firm believer that form should follow function, and if the mark is in the way of something that would work better there, I will not begrudge its removal. Exactly my point, Exkaiser! I'm glad that there are people that actually see this as a good idea, because after all, it would be way better to selected stuff, instead of random screenshots. The blog will hold only stuff that I or others believe it's worth showing, not some ordinary landscape or NPC from the game.

 

It looks sexy. I'll definitely be checking out Starvault to see what kind of content is posted there post game release!

Now that I've gone back and seen the screenshot of the front page, I'm all over it.
A suggestion: Maybe instead of having 3 humans you could switch two out for other races? That way you should have all the major races up there.

Anyways, your idea is great, I can see a lot of people using it, and it has a good amount of potential. Looks like it'll be fun.

I enjoy visiting pages for their "daily update." So going to a page to see what other people have been doing will be interesting.

 

I dislike this guy more and more. I actually DO suffer from OCD. And guess what? YOUR TYPING HURTS ME. Each first letter being capitalized is so grammatically incorrect that it would pain me to type like that.

So yes, he is just making excuses, because OCD doesn't cause you to type like that.

 

I think it would be fun to read this once the game is released! Especially if you would post things like, awesome screenshots, top 10 something, small tutorials, easter eggs etc. Oh and the layout is amazing!
