Starting New Server. Looking For Players/Testers

Unfortunately the server seems to be constantly shutting down due to an IOException Error.
According to what I looked up the only way to that is to delete the universe folder, which means we will loose everything we made on whichever planets we made them on.

Scratch that. I was able to just delete one file inside the universe folder and everything seems fine now.

What? Am I the only one who floats into servers around here?

 

I think someone with mods is trying to log in to the server because I keep getting ItemException Errors

 

Might be a player called Ethan. He was logging in last time it crashed.

 

The ItemException Errors don't cause a crash they just spam up my screen with errors messages.

So far only IOExceptions are causing crashes and I don't know what's causing those.

 

Also some good news. Usage wise, the server is only taking up a fraction of what I thought it would.
Now all I need is higher upload speed -.-

um keeps saying "Join Failed! Timeout while establishing connection." does that mean its full?

 

No it isn't full but it has been running for a while so I just reset it and you can try joining again.

Server crashed due to an IOException sometime last night unfortunately. It's back up and should be good to join

 

Might join, though I own/administrate two other servers.

 

That's great. Do you know what an IOException is?

EDIT: Is it another annoying bug with servers in the beta? Never had it myself. Try reinstalling Starbound.

 

Delete the universe.dat and universe.chunks files. That works for most people, and on the forum post that I read the guy who did it claimed no harm came to his loaded planets.
