What's this rant about immersion? It's how the game is, having nothing in the slot currently does nothing.

With all of the threads about breaking immersion, and me posting my opinions on immersion in those threads I was hoping you may have seen such a post. You've entered in my giveaways and liked quite a few of my posts so I assumed you actually read some of them. I guess I was wrong. Seriously I don't care what we start with, I was just answering the OP's question and giving a bit of insight on how I felt about it.

I refuse to enter a battle of the wits with you - it's against my morals to attack an unarmed person.

 

I'm kind of hoping that the matter manipulator you start with is either a downgraded version and needs to be upgraded or is only somewhat useful and necessary to do things. From what I've seen it looks good, just kind of hoping that there is some sort of progression on it or some other devices that trump it a little.

What do you mean sarcasm is really easy to detect on the internet I have no clue why more people don't use it.

 

When sarcasm is being used in a argument and they don't make it obvious because this is not real life you cant detect it.

I think that the tech tree should be that you use loose rocks to make a chisel that you use to make a pickaxe that you use to mine unobtanium. You use a few leaves as tinder to smelt that into a trans-dimensional vortex which is then combined with some sticks to make your first matter manipulator.
