In the infinite vastness of the universe, a million secrets hide behind every nebula. Specs of knowledge sleep for hundreds of years, adrift in the endless space as passengers of planets and moons. Many consider them irrelevant. Vestiges of times past in galaxies embroidered in constant change. Yet, the knowledge of the past is often power in and of itself, albeit few realize this truth. In time, some of them have come together, pooling their finds and resources fora common goal: to collect and spread knowledge and culture throughout the whole universe.

Today, you can find agents of the StarSearcher Society in many colonized worlds, serving as nexuses with the grand databases of the Star Library, the repository of all the information collected by the members. Their information is available to anyone that can give something in return, although new knowledge is always considered the most precious of offers. The StarSearcher Society discriminates no race or creed, accepting any help and offering help to those willing to pay for it one way or another. Its roots grow deep behind many a government, and oftentimes its agents serve in high places of education on their respective planets. The Society's logo, a bound book with a star rising and shining over it, is known in many universities and ministries. Few know exactly how far their influence reaches beyond the colonized space, but many even among the mercenaries and pirates know that they pay highly for new knowledge, and oftentimes offer information on many worlds that few men have visited before.

    Type: Other (Information Gathering/Trading)
Ethics: Each agent operates under their own personal code, although most understand that knowledge should be available to everyone and anyone, as long as they offer something in return.
