Welcome!After long consideration, I have decided to start a Starbound based book, so that the wait doesn't kill me xDAnywho I think I will post a chapter every week (Random date!) And hope that you guys read it C:So here's the prologue of everything that has happened:Stars we have had to give up~ Prologue As Gavin argued with his mother over his latest detention, the phrase that he would regret for the rest of his life slipped out, “ I hate you!” Gavin stormed to his messy bedroom unit, bashing the – close door – button behind him. As his speaker said to him: Gavin is there anything you need help with?-ERROR ERROR ERROR-As Gavin sulkily stared at the speaker realizing he forgot to update the software on it. Stepping over to the control panel Gavin hears something abrupt and booming turning over to his window seeing a particle of dust flying. Rushing to his escape pod, he throws himself at it hoping its sliding door function hasn’t gone down yet. Inside of the escape pod is a picture of his mother, and his father, with tears streaming down his face 16-year-old Gavin presses the launch button and is cascaded into the air. Among the stars, Gavin replays his mother’s last shocked face in his head, and can only hope she made it out alive. As he stares out among the stars he catches, out of the corner of his eye, his earth, his home planet, destroyed into small particles barely visible to the naked eye floating adrift. As he floats by a star, Gavin realizes that he really is “Star Bound"
Seems well written, although I'm confused as to the sudden jump from him running from his mom to the escape pod; it needs to be filled out more >.>
