How Come i Can't Join???

 

It says i don't have a special character in this name???

 

That's the issue with spaces in the name, we've pushed another update but haven't updated the server yet while we fix other bugs.

 

for those having the no spaces allowed issue, Just open up your character data in Notepad ++ and look for your name, then add _ to each space and you won't have to start a new character. I used to have the name Arix II and now its Arix_II and worked fine.


Although this tip is probably useless by now.

 

We are trialing the server on Debian 7 in the US - East Coast. Let us know the differences!

Spawn protection is now working correctly, if you can't edit your ship try warping down to a planet and back up again We also have two new moderators on the server SirOrange and Shadre!

I did try talking to you. Your response was to attack me on sight, and accuse me of griefing.

I used the N key to examine an item I'd never seen before (and the character's in-game dialog about it was pretty funny), that was it. Never said I'd grief, never broke a thing.

It seems there was a misunderstanding here, and maybe neither of us handled it well. I'm not here for debates or disputes, just playing a game. Still, your response here does little to change my view on the matter.

 

A few people have been wondering why they can't build on the main planet, we have it spawn protected to prevent griefing but you can use /fuel to get 30 Solarium Ore so you can venture out to a nearby planet or a different star system! We frequently recruit new people to become "Players" which is a non-staff rank that grants the ability to help expand the spawn planet into a massive metropolis! (...Or something along those lines.)

Just got the server back online, it uhhh... ran out of disk space! Too much exploring I think -- and I forgot to delete my old backups

 

I joined the server today for a while, and afterwards my connection got cut by my outer signal and now I can't sign back in no matter how I try.

It says client-server connection no longer valid.

 

Sorry about that, I think I kind of messed up the network configuration on the server, should be working now!

 

Terribly sorry for this again, but I do believe my problem came back (but this time I simply left of my own accord last night)


I like how friendly the admins are, and it seems people are rather cool here.
