Wow! This looks extremely useful! I'll have to play around with it for my next mod as I'm sure it would save a lot of time. Good luck with this project!

Sorry to say, but .exe files can't be uploaded to the official mod repo.
You can, however, post in the Modding Discussion section as detailed in the quote from Molly.

For me, I have a problem. When i launch your application: "Starbound was not found SMK will exit"

This sounds very interesting, but... how is anybody supposed to know if this is worth the download when you haven't told us any of the current or planned features? It seems like you've put a lot of work into it, you ought to spend a little time telling us about it. People won't use it if they don't know how it will help them.

Is there a way to configure the starbound directory that the application uses? I have all my steam apps stored in a different location then the original, perhaps adding in some more configuration options will boost this mod's popularity. However the idea is great and if continued support for this mod is done then it'll be the next big step in helping beginner modders to create custom content. 7/10 IGN approves :p

    1. No option to configure the SB directory (couldn't start it because of that fact)
    2. (from the video) No Syntax highlighting... that should be a must have
    3. some legal stuff: I don't think repackaging Chucklefishs AssetPacker and -Unpacker is in any case legal! (If you can set the SB dir, you can use them from there, tho)

    4. Make a feature list of implemented stuff
    5. Make a list of planned features
    6. Provide templates for the SB filetypes

    and the most important:
    7. Go on with the work

Yep,the directory is the first thing you need to implement in the next update
Then i will rate this program

Okay thanks all for you reply ! I make the starbound directory direct so cracked starbound will not work with the app, I'll remove the assets packer/unpacker from the installation and use it in the SB folder like you said. And I'll move the thread.

From my personal experience: NEVER ever hardcode Application pathes... there are people who install it aside from the default pathes ON PURPOSE. Either get the path from the registry (not sure if that would work on Starbound) or if you can't find it throw a folder select dialog. But don't hardcode or guess about pathes!
