What's the weirdest thing you've ever been asked to deliver for a quest? (Louis's truffle oil doesn't count. lol)

 

one time sam really wanted a cute girl (me, obviously) to bring him a salmon

i don't know what he wanted with a salmon or why he needed a cute girl (me, obviously) to deliver it
but dangit sam is so charming

 

Haley and her sea-cucumber fetish. Really, Haley? Really? Do I even want to know?

 

I've heard sometimes she asks for fish too. I'm not gonna ask. lol

 

Once, Gus asked for a Joja Cola. I bought one from the vending machine in his saloon for 75g. He gave me 75g as a reward.
Helping!

 

Well it wouldn't be so bad if her note didn't say:

FOR GIRLS ONLY: psst... I need a sea cucumber... you know what it's for. Keep it secret, okay?

That's just... no.

 

LOL I got that quest from Emily. She was at home when I delivered it, I was like "Girl, you couldn't have just waited til you got to work and bought it yourself?" Guess she really had a craving. lol

(The Joja Cola one, NOT the sea cucumber one. lol)

 

Yeah, they rub the weirdest stuff on sore parts of their bodies.
I've seen a metal bar (Iron I think) to rub on a sore nose... I mean I guess the coldness of the metal would help with the pain? xD

And Haley's "For girls only" requests has got to be some of the most... suggestive help requests. I've seen her ask for both eels and cave carrots ;P

 

Someone on another thread pointed out that even Demetrius-- stalwart defender of science and reason-- goes for these home remedies sometimes. You want... what for your sore knee? What, Pierre doesn't stock ibuprofen?

 

George asked for a hot pepper for his knee once, now that I can kiiiinda get behind because the heat maybe? But the rest...I dunno, they've got a weird obsession with fish in Pelican Town. lol

 

there was one comic i saw that had a screencap of a quest

and the quest was basically that sebastian wanted a potato to throw as hard as he could against the mountain face

i still laugh about it every time i think about it because it's just such a hilarious quest to ask

 

I've had that request a couple of times before, it's always fruit or veggies he want to throw at the mountain

 

"Looking to dissect a Joja Cola."

- 75g on delivery.
- Demetrius will be pleased.

 

Shane wanting a Joja cola I found odd, because when you give it to him as a gift he HATES it...

Haley's *love you forever* quests are odd, and she's lying about loving you forever! (Gave her one of those, next day she ignores me)

I'm waiting for Harvey to do a *I want a fish to sooth my aching joints*. I've seen fish/crops requests from Jodi, George, Clint, and Shane...not to mention Shane wanting a Joja cola to sooth his aching knee. Not sure how a soft drink will sooth a bum knee...

 

I find Stardew Valleys mourning rituals as weird as their home remedies. Jodi asked for a red mushroom for her great grandfathers grave and Demetrius asked for an octopus.

 

Who among us has not left a live cephalopod on a beloved relative's grave? ._.

Well, Linus sometimes asks for a food item as a snack while watching television.

Does he have a secret TV in that tent with an extension cord running to the back of Robin's house? Or does he just stand in the window when Robin and Demetrius are cuddled up watching television and stare through at the screen?

 

I would guess the second option...
