Stardew Valley Xbox One + PS4: Known Issues & Fixes (Patch 1)

Hi. First post, and apologies if this has been covered, but basically I've virtually lost all Music on PS4. Was fine up until Winter of year one. It now plays occasionally in the morning when I wake up but then cuts and all I have is SFX. I'm on 4 of Spring, Year 2. 44 hours 37 mins of gameplay in. I love the game but I also love the Music and miss it!

This issue is still active, bought the game yesterday without reading prior to it... now my PS4 PRO won't go into rest mode, just like it did with DOOM

 

hi dev, are you guys going to fix the PS4 Pro sleep mode issues?
Got my first 3 beep problem and completely removed the game one month ago.

Pretty sure this is never going to be addressed. Has been months.

 

Please, we need update and Brazilian language on PS4. Do not forget the console players, we're feeling abandoned.

 

I got a refund on this game when it first came out because my save crashed, has this been fixed? Been thinking about picking it back up.

 

I'm getting the disappearing cursor problem a lot, and the first baby I had seems to have glitched as well-playing on a regular PS4. I never had any glitches/bugs like these all those hours I put in on the PC version. Also, I'd love to play with a keyboard and mouse on the console.

 

So is the PS4 pro sleep mode issue now officially considered a non-issue by the dev?

 

Seems like it. They should talk Bethesda and see what they did, because doom works fine on both my consoles, and from what I can find online no one has complained about doom since right before the new update.

I have been playing SV for the past few days without any issues on my PS4 Pro. However, I did have issues after the so-called fix so it's all spotty atm. I will play SV on 4.70 but my word may not be reliable for everybody, as I haven't had issues in a while. I will add that I started running Spotify before playing SV but lately I have been forgetting to do so, and errors haven't shown up. I have jumped from the game to other games, I've played while on a party chat, no issues (and I had them ALL way back when).

I am NOT saying this is fixed, and I maintain the fact that it should be researched to get the issues out of the way, but a mitigation is obviously there on my end.

 

i heard that ppl are getting loads of trouble on the update 4.7.
Have to make sure everything are stable before testing...
well that sucks, Sony and the dev dont care and poor us.

 

To be clear, it's not the developer who doesn't care. ConcernedApe has nothing to do with the console version of this game, the publisher, Chuckle Fish, is responsible for the poor state of it, as they're the ones who handled porting duties. I doubt whether there's anything ConcernedApe could do about the current lack of updates (both in the form of a new console patch -- still waiting for the new control scheme to make it to consoles -- or communication from Chuckle Fish) as he hasn't had anything to do with it.

 

Losing at Blackjack caused my game to crash and the whole PS4 Pro to freeze. I had to turn it of by holding the power button until it shut down. This happened to me and my boyfriend so maybe someone should look into this problem.

Edit: What I mean is we have been waiting since late last year for any movement on PS4 pro issues.

 

I'm not sure whether it's only an issue with the ps4 pro, though, or if this also happens on the normal ps4.

I just wanted to report the problem. Whether or not they decide to do something about it is up to them. Hope dies last after all ;-)

 

This game is on sale right now in the Xbox live store, have any of the issues been fixed and will I be able to access my old save file or were they all corrupted? Haven't played since launch after I got a refund on the game.

Yesterday (June 19th, around 3: 30pm PDT) I had issues when i would go to the casino. I would play blackjack (both tables) and when i ran out of Qi coins, Stardew would crash, causing my ps4 to hard lock. (I had to fully turn off the ps4) I tried again later, and it happened again.

Sidenote: I had the best luck for that in game day, most likely not the issue, but i thought i would mention it.

 

I'm having issues for the past two weeks on setting items into bundles and opening the bundles menu in general outside of the community center. Everything worked fine on that up until my mother decided to play the game on her own ps4 sign in, I noticed she couldn't access the community center menu from her items screen and I didn't think too much of it at first since she's new and trying to learn how to play, I figured it might have been something she did.. Now on my own game though I can't access the community center tab on any of my tabs and when I try to complete bundles it no longer allows me to place more then two or three items. I only have the larger bundles to complete by this point in my game so this is a problem, I can't do anything unless I save and turn off my game and then it 'might' let me place one item on occasion but not always, then it'll repeat the same problem. We haven't altered the settings on our game at all so this is a surprising new thing going on for us. Not exactly sure of what to do about it or if it can be solved on it's own without needing to report it.. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game as well as forced a ps4 update to try fixing this already and nothing works, everything is up to date as far as updates go.

I also have some info on the child aging glitch, I experienced that back in like November or October last year and it still isn't resolved back from my first game file. The glitch started from the moment I had the child in game, when I went looking for it I couldn't find it and it turns out it was in the top left corner of my house's roof/ceiling instead of in the crib, and when I went to bed and woke up the next day it was already in it's second to last stage of growing up, since then it's devolved back into a baby and now it's stuck in it's second stage of life and won't age anymore. I don't know if the issue is only with one of the bachelors or not though, in both of my games I've married Sebastian so I don't know if it'll happen again by the time I get my house upgrade in my second game where I'm experiencing the first issue stated above, but I can keep an eye out for it and post about it again if it does if you'd like.
