i might have found a glitch on the switch version (not 100% sure though) but since it's semi-spoiler territory it's going in spoiler brackets

The lost woods day/night lighting cycle seems somewhat off for me, like right now duing fall it's shadowy during mid day and once it hits 6PM when it should be getting darker it becomes brighter (haven't really checked the other season for it yet)

not really that big a spoiler but would be sad if i ruined it for others

 

Yeah I noticed that too, it’s really weird. I also have some lighting glitches where dark places get lighter upon interacting with things or when text boxes show up, if this game were to get the update to allow for video clips it would be a lot easier to show.

 

I've noticed the thing regarding that <spoiler> area, though to me it seems to be in purpose, to add to the nature of it. As for the screen brightening with message box appearing, I don't doubt it can be a bug, (as there are some interesting ones) but make sure it's not caused by the Switch auto adjusting brightness. I had some irregularities with it until I turned it off. Apparently a bright text box on certain lighting condition was enough for the Switch to think I'm in brighter surrounding. This of course is only a case when it is not in tv mode.

 

I don't know if the Season matters but it was the beginning of winter and I had bought brick flooring and tree wallpaper and had put it up in my house with the 1st upgrade completed, and I put both in the middle of the house(original room) before I went to bed, the next morning I wake up to my kitchen having wood flooring which I don't think is normal.

I also can't access the bundles list from my inventory with control based menus. But that's probably already on here

Edit: Also when talking to people at the Stardew Valley Fair my character kept walking but standing in place while the text box was up.

 

Glazed yams recipe text overlaps the health and stamina it gives you, might be with other recipes but unsure. It's three lines of text.

 

I am playing the Switch version. I am on the first day of spring in the third year, when you see the cutscene of you Grandpa's spirit. The game is crashing during this cutscene after he says "You've done well, my boy." After many reloads, all it does is crash. This is preventing me from playing the game! Someone please help!

 

Hi! I'm having an issue where upon placing turnips to my chest outside the cursor gets stuck in a bizarre area and I can't move it. It's made the game unplayable, in that I can't even move the cursor (at all) or use any input buttons. Does anyone know how to resolve this?

Update: so the issue happens when on the chest and opening the Switch menu to adjust brightness. A simple fix is restarting the Switch.

 

Bug Report: Game crashing to home screen in Casino after playing slots. Was swapping between slot machines and it crashes after a bet was placed and the spin had completed. Restarted game and went back and was able to reproduce crash on a different day.

 

Bug Report: Day 26 of Spring, Year 1 (Switch edition). Took a "Gathering" quest from the billboard for Robin. She wanted 25 "fresh" pieces of Wood. When I took them to her at the end of the day, she thanked me for the "stone" rather than for wood. Quest completed normally otherwise, just a minor bug.

 

Would you be able to show me where the cursor gets stuck with a screenshot?

I've seen dungeon item reward multiplication reported a couple times already but since it happened for me too, I'll put it here as it seems to be reliably reproduceable (as good a thing as that is).

I got into mines level with lava boots (110?) and opened the chest while having full inventory. I then proceeded to trash one item from my inventory with the recycle bin, and moved the boots from the chest side intothe emptied slot. I closed the chest interface but the chest was still there and as I accessed it again, there was a new pair of boots waiting. I didn't pick them up though, but I remember someone else saying they got two pair of boots and potential for more. When I next time arrived to the same mines floor the chest had disappeared.

This is not game breaking as such, and even the chance to abuse it is limited to available room to haul the boots out of the mine.

 

Hi, I'm experiencing the "Softlock during museum donation", tried to donate dolomite on two different in-game days and placing in two different positions, got soft lock both times. Never had issue with previous donation.

If you need help replicating the bug let me know

 

I’ve tried placing on big table in from of the fire place in bottom right two places. Also tried on top position of the far right three square table. All lock game up. I can still move cursor with left stick but can’t exit the donation view

 

Im having the screen alignment issue during heart events. It conforts me greatly to know you guys are on it and will fix it soon. Thank you so much
