Stardew Valley Multiplayer Beta: Known Issues & Fixes

When you swipe at someone who is sleeping with a scythe they wake up and are prompted to sleep again.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Have somebody sleeping
2. Have somebody swipe at them with a scythe

Dropped the sword from my inventory for a friend, they picked one up and I picked one up.

 

Got a crash when my partner fainted from sleep deprivation at 2:00 AM but I was already in bed "waiting for players 1/2"
Crash logs attached as well as the save.

 

Ladies were huffing in puffing as if they were supposed to be exercising, but they were not doing their animation exercises for farmhand.

 

Farmhand's community center cutscene, when the mayor is explaining its dilapidated state (near the very beginning of the game).

The farmhand's character was the hosting player's character during the cutscene.

 

Menu was glitchy for one farmhand... they could not select the map... everytime they tried to select it, it would just skip over it.

Uploading a video of my odd fishing occurrence, but here's a gif of a weird gift thing. It's happened one other time with Leah that I remember.

 

Sync issues in the community center... For the Construction gathering.. thingy... I had put in two 99 wood slots, and filled the stone slot. Farmhand checked the construction thingy and the 2 99 wood slots were filled, but not the stone.

 

Sync issues with plowed land... farmhand is missing some plowed squares, occasionally.

 

I also found the same bug.

 

I finally got the "out of stock" bug I've heard so much about.

 

I found a bug with giving NPCs gifts. The usual is two per week and then it resets on Sunday, but mine don't reset after a week, it just says that I've already given them two gifts this week, even if I haven't gifted them for a month.

 

So one of the floors in my house changed. I just had the cut scene where Pam's house was completed and I woke up the next morning with different floors. First pic is what my floors ussually are, and the second is what it was changed to.


OH. IT WAS SEBASTIAN. Woops, I hadn't talked to him yet, and it said he did it..

Nevermind. That's actually a cute change.

 

The other person was lagging while I was gifting, and they never received the menu to accept. As this has happened I cannot exit out of the "Waiting for the other player..." screen.

 

I am getting a bug where I select co-op and intend the game to be played as co-op but it keeps putting the game as single player. When I want to go into the game and build a cabin for someone, it changes it to single player and I no longer have the option to purchase cabins. Am I doing something wrong in that I should be selecting 1 cabin regardless? It doesn't seem to want to work with no cabins and setting it up as co-op.

 

I'm having this same bug. I believe that all players not the host have issues viewing the bundles.

Also, it seems that non-host players are unable to upgrade their axe to a copper axe at the blacksmith. The axe just gets returned to the player by the mayor the following day with the 5 copper bars and 2000 gold eaten.

 

Having an issue where my friends' heart lists won't update and it won't let me give gifts to people til it does. Also, the rooster that crows at the beginning crows late and Pam is glitchy when you ride the bus (can't see her walk in)

 

Hey, my friends and I are on Summer Day 10. But whenever we sleep, the game crashes (has happened 3 times already). I've attached the error code but when I try to attach my latest save file it says the "uploaded file does not have an allowed extension." What should I do for both situations? Thanks!

 

It's not listed in the first post, but one of today's updates appears to have fixed the issue with gift limits not resetting. Nice!

Edit: I do wonder- I'm only a week into winter and my Secret Note collection is almost complete just from doing what I normally do. Is the drop rate supposed to be this high?

 

Strange circular light appears when using recycling machine indoors (causes lag), (only on 2nd house upgrade)
