There's a issue with my save file when I use it for 1.3.9 beta once I go out of my house it gets REALLY LAGGY. I thought it was due to the amount of slimes I have in my farm because I'll admit I have LOADS however, when I tried playing the save file BEFORE the beta it seems to be working without any lag whatsoever. So I'm not even sure if the slimes are part of the problem anymore. I'll try uploading a picture for you to understand but since it's the lag it's hard to tell. https://imgur.com/a/obb1F9F
So to put it into more detail basically whenever I move I can't see the movement and it's delayed quite a bit, the slime movements are also delayed and lag for seconds behind so it feels like I'm watching this in slow motion. I would upload my save file but I haven't actually saved it in 1.3.9.
However when I'm in other maps such as inside the farmmhouse, other places it's perfectly fine.

Whenever I boot the game and go into my 1.2 game, I get the "meteorite" crashing noise, but no meteor falls. It does not do this any other nights while I play, only when I first start up the game.

I've just had this issue... Me (Host) and my friends played up to the first festival and at the end of the day, one of my friends crashed when it said "waiting for players 3/3" and the game got stuck in that screen. When I reopened the game and hosted I couldn't invite my friends and they couldn't join me. The server was online in the options but there was no steam options for inviting anymore.

Anyone having issues where coop and barn animals are eating twice the amount per night that they usually do? Example: I have two chickens in a coop, and every morning when I go to collect their eggs, the entire feed trough is empty. They also are allowed out during the day and have grass to eat in the yard.
The same goes with my cow.

Edit: I think I figured out how to prevent this. Don't have grass that they can free range eat. Still tinkering with this. I will update as I figure things out.

Edit 2: Having grass and not having grass for them to feed on seems to not make a difference. Will check if it is because they are allowed out of the coop/barn.

Edit 3: If I never let them out of the barn, they eat the proper amount.

My game crashed when time rolls over to 2:00 AM while I was in the bus stop cut-scene (traveling back to Stardew Valley).

            Actions before Crash:
            1. Got into the bus at ~1:40-1:50 AM on the Dessert side
            2. 2:00 AM rolled over while in the 2nd part of the cut-scene (after the fade-out leaving the Dessert)
            3. Did not see character step out of the bus, but instead got a fade to black (as if I passed out in the bus)
            4. "Skill Level Up" jingle plays for a few frames
            5. Audio corruption of said jingle, then crash to Desktop
            Details:
            • Playing with one other player, so time does not stop while in the cut-scene.
            • This said player was also in bed.
            • Tried to reproduce this bug, but failed because time rolled over to 2:00 AM while still in the Dessert.
              • If time rolls over to 2:00 AM, then the crash does not happen and your character passes out at 2:10 AM.
            Crashlog attached.

What weapon are you using? It's absolutely impossible for me to kill them before they turn into a fly with a Rusty Sword, and while I haven't tried with a Wooden Sword yet it's not that much of an increase in damage. Maybe you're killing them before they hit their panic state?

Regardless, they're definitely not behaving like they're supposed to, and I've been put off enough by it that I'm just waiting for the issue to be fixed before getting back into the beta.

1.Artisan profession on a non-host player does not work. It will display different sell values from the host's on the artisan player's computer, but the gold added will be the amount without artisan factored in.

Probably applies to other professions as well.

2.Pushing a player out of bed during character creation force-ends their character creation.

When I play a friend's game and I disconnect due to connection issues after I unlock some recipes or a level up in a skill the night before. When I rejoin I see that I don't have the recipes or skill levels anymore and I can re-unlock them the next night.

As far as I know, professions are calculated on a per-player basis except when you use the shipping box. Items in the shipping box will use the host's professions (because it's their box), while selling directly to merchants will use the seller/player's professions.

Having an issue with Iridium Rod and casting. I cast on the dock at the beach and my character got stuck mid animation. The game was still running and time progressed past 2 am with my character still holding the rod mid animation. I tried pause unpause via chat but I had to alt F4. My partner connected to the session was in bed and got a black screen at 2 am.

Singleplayer: Horse animation went haywire (as seen in the first clip here: )
Multiplayer: (in youtube clip: The Fall Festival caused me to see two cursors on the screen while doing the fishing challenge, my friend's sprite went crazy and stayed like that for a while--It was pretty funny)

Also, I can now hear a chicken (perhaps the one I own?) when I walk by the Community Center.
The game keeps resetting my resolution (from 1920×1080 to something 1920×1200 whenever I start the game)

I have gotten up to the Steel Smallsword (had to use CJB to get it since my chests are also missing) and where I would have been able to kill them before the transformation in 1.2 with the same weapon, I get them to 5ish HP (thank you Health Bars mod) before they panic, start crawling, and become completely invincible. It's not a matter of not dealing enough damage, it's the fact that you can't hit them while crawling.

Second, the dark levels are 30-40 (the ones with the creepy golems). Where there might be some shadows in 1-30, they are GREATLY exaggerated now and make it just as dark as levels 30-40.

                              UPDATE

                              Mines
                              • My friend (she is farmhand, I’m host) fainted in the mines while we were down there. I did not. Both of us, however, lost our progress in the mine elevator.
                                • When the friend made it to level 10, the chest was still not there for her. I didn’t really expect it to be, but I figured the dev team would like that bit of info.
                                • Regarding the chests not appearing for anyone, we havent gotten to level 20 yet to say for sure whether or not that’s happening to us, but once we do, I’ll update this thread again.

                              Edit:
Oh! Technical details! Both of us had an update right before we got on, so we have the latest version of the beta as of the time of this post. No downloads began after we got off.
She is on MacOS and I am on Windows 10 PC. We both have the game through the Steam client.

                              Edit 2:
Thank you so much for working on this feature, Chucklefish/Concerned Ape. I love that it doesn’t slow the visitor to the speed of the host but rather quickly updates the data to match best it can. What I mean is, when the visitor walks, the game doesn’t rubber band them to keep the hosts’ data as the primary reference but rather if someone’s data is lagging behind, the character will look really fast for a moment to the other player. That’s one thing I disliked about another coop game. Whoever wasn’t hosting constantly had to deal with rubber banding bc the game put priority on the hosts’ data.

I've actually had this issue since 1.2 came out, but I'm hoping I can post it here because it's happening in the beta as well.

The action button "X" on the keyboard isn't working for me to start\continue conversations or to navigate and select choices in menus. Esc also no longer closes out of menus.

This doesn't appear to be either a computer or save file issue as it happens on multiple computers with even new save files. I've also tried rebinding the keys and it doesn't help.

Let me know if this doesn't belong in the thread or if this has already been reported.

When fishing I caught a 34 inch Catfish which was a gold star, but a 45 inch was only a silver star? I don't think this is right.

Hello there! My husband and I have been playing this on LAN (and really enjoying it!). I've been keeping track of all of the bugs we have encountered so far, and want to share them here. I read through the list of fixed/in progress items above, and found those most of ours are not listed. So, we're glad to be a help!

All bugs below occurred while played multiplayer on LAN:

                                    (1) Player 1 can hear bees outside of the mine when Player 2 is inside of the mine. The sound only appears to stop for Player 1 when Player 1 changes to a new location/screen. (appears to be in the bug list above)

                                    (2) When Player 1 is fishing and Player 2 enters the area, Player 2 sees player 1 in the wrong location, with the fishing line going across the screen. (appears to be in the bug list above). ADDED IN EDIT: Note, this appears to happen specifically when Player 1 is already fishing while Player 2 enters the area.

                                    (3) When either player finds a geode for the first time, they player raises a Stone above their head, instead, with the text 'FOUND STONE.' (this may be referred to in the bug list above - I can't tell)

                                    (4) Generally the cooking recipes show up on the TV on specific days (which I've looked up in the past), but there seems to be a de-sync where the recipe on the TV for Player 1 is not what's on the TV for Player 2. For example, on the 14th of Spring, Player 1 had Coleslaw on the TV while Player 2 had Stir Fry.

                                    (5) We have the Riverland Farm Map. Player 2 appears to only be able to catch trash from the farm water supply. We tried for an entire in game day with not a single fish. Player 1 can catch fish here.

                                    (6) During the quest to find Robin's Axe: Player 2 turned in the Axe and was rewarded for completing the quest. However, the axe stayed in Player 2's inventory, presumably so that Player 1 could also finish the quest. Player 2 gifted Player 1 the axe, however, when Player 1 spoke to Robin, she did not recognize that Player 1 had the axe to turn in. In order for the game to fully recognize that Player 1 had the axe, Player 1 had to put the box into a chest, and then take the axe back out. Then Player 1 was able to complete the quest as normal.

                                    (7) During the quest to give Jodi a Cauliflower: Player 2 had the Cauliflower in hand while standing inside of Jodi's house along with Player 1, but was unable to right click and gift the Cauliflower to Jodi. Player 1 had to leave the house in order for Player 2 to gift the Cauliflower to Jodi.

                                    (8) Player 2 was in the mines. Player 1 instigated a cutscene in Pierre's shop with Morris giving out Jojamart coupons to customers. Player 2 was teleported out of the mines and placed into Pierre's shop for this scene, and remained in the shop afterword as if he had not come out of the mines.

                                    (9) The sounds of the other player often sound far too close. For example, Player 1 cutting grass can be heard very clearly from very far on the other side of the map.

                                    (10) The ESC menu with the bundle tree does not update properly for Player 2. Only Player 1 can open the menu and properly see which bundles are complete and what items are still necessary. Player 2 sees the first tree as if we have not completed any bundles, and cannot switch to any bundles other than the first. Player 2 can, however, correctly contribute to the bundles while inside of the actual community center.

                                    (11) Player 1 has a perk wherein fish are worth 25% more money when sold. At the end of the night, when the money made during the day is shown, Player 1 sees the higher price for the fish sold, but Player 2 does not - he only sees the regular price for the fish sold. We have not done the math to find out if our actual wallet receives the higher or lower amount, but the numbers are certainly not showing up properly.

                                    (12) On Friday the 26th of Summer during the first year, Player 1 and 2 both encountered absolutely horrifying FPS on the farm. This persisted on the farm for that day, but did not occur in other areas of the map. (This might have something to do with the scaling bug mentioned in the list above, as we did have mayonnaise machines and a recycler running at the time).

                                    (13) Player 2 purchased the Cabin upgrade at Robin's. We received no visual indication that work was happening on the cabin (e.g. no Robin hammering away at anything), but then one morning, suddenly the cabin was upgraded.

                                    (14) (ADDED IN AN EDIT) Player 2 was in the mine and a ghost appeared. Player 1 was not in the mine, but could see a greenish colored shadow on the screen which moved around and correlated with the ghost on Player 2's screen as if perhaps Player 1 could see the shadow of Player 2's ghost enemy.

That is everything that we have so far! I hope that this list of bugs helps in some way, and that I am posting to the right place!

                                    Thanks!

The screen resizing visual bug is still there when selecting a farm. Going to full-screen will make the title options show on the side of the screen.

Also, for some reason after upgrading to a Steel Axe I'm unable to hear my Axe sound effect but others in the game can.

EDIT: The host can't hear sfx from using his tools either. We can both hear the watering sfx though.

EDIT 2: For some reason the sfx randomly came back for me later in the day. I also heard a strange explosion and a tree falling down?

EDIT 3: On another day at the start of the day my sound effects have disappeared. It might just be that they don't work on the farm.
