I've noticed that when I play with someone else hosting their farm, I can't do certain things (dig in the mines, flip through the pages of the community center tab in your inventory, to be exact).

Just wanted to report that grubs are still invulnerable while running away (before they grow their cocoon armor) in the hopes of this issue getting looked at soon - I'm using the latest patch on a file I created for the beta, and playing in singleplayer.

First cutscene started to play where Morris walked in to the Pierres general store and started to thrash talk Pierre. Other players teleported to shop from mines.

Also when i played prairie king game boss fight and day changed , I teleported to house and boss fight music continued to play for forever.

Here are all the things me and my friends found so far playing the awesome Multiplayer!
We are not very far into the game, but we found some stuff still. Hope this helps!

After rejoining a server before saving, the quests reset to those of the last day, but the items in your inventory stay the same.
Community Center is not synched, before everyone took their Book to the Center, which made me wander around with no clue how to get the Quests done.
In mine you cant trade items via drag n drop
Crashes for one of us in mine randomly
You can hear the cave combat from someone else when on the beach
I cant see some of the planted crops while 2 other players can. (crops desynched)
Some items being donated to the museum by other players, I cant see the description of.
I as the non-host cant see the completed Bundles outside of the Center and neither the Items required for them. Cant scroll to left or right in the book outisde of the center.
Should be able to go to sleep with an item in hand
Normal and Fibreglass Rod work differently. no need to click again with the normal fishing rod after getting an item. with the fibreglass you need to reclick to throw out the rod again.
Bombs disappear and the zizzling noise continues.
You can hear other players on the farm harvesting grass across all screens.
Money gained from certain activities are sometimes not shown in the screen over night and the money gained from those shown, are sometimes different for different players.

Take care and have a good one people!

In the mines, tipping the minecart full of coal is client side, i believe.

Bad internet connection here (7mbps Download/1mbps upload), can't even play for 1 day without dropping connection/desync. Seems like the bandwidth usage is too much sometimes (at least for my connection)

My hosted game just crashed during the Fair in fall. At the time of the crash I just finished my 2nd attempt at the fishing challenge to earn tokens.

Another thing that's been bugging us for some days (though we found a workaround for now) is that my friend's game (not the host) crashes whenever he skips through his earnings screen FIRST. We usually do it that I click through it first to get to the "waiting for other players part" but sometimes we forget and if his games tells him to "wait for other players" while I'm still checking the earned gold, he gets a crash.

I noticed the controls are wonky sometimes, I know you used to be able to just face an object/person and interact by pressing X but now most of the time (usually in multiplayer, and when I'm in fullscreen in single player) I can't interact unless I point the cursor, which is really annoying in combat, people who are accustomed to using the mouse like that might say "git gud scrub" but I have a trackpad, pff.

Hi guys, I'm playing multiplayer with a friend and I'm having a problem, at least I think, we're going into the mine together and when you reach the levels that have prizes, only one is able to pick up, after a bau some take, for you it is this way too or everyone gets the same item, an example is the boot that wins in the bau.

I think this has been a bug for a while, based on a little research I did, but I haven't experienced it myself until opting into the beta branch.

Occasionally, when advancing to the next day, individual seeds that I had planted the day before mysteriously don't grow, and retain their water overnight. This not only throws off my planting scheme but can cost me the crop itself if it doesn't grow before the next season. This has happened in both singleplayer and multiplayer modes.

To reiterate, this has only happened with seeds. I have not observed this in crops that have sprouted.

This is my current save, where i didn't get to see a single chest. I was game hoster and my friend did majority of mining. He didn't see chests either, except at 120 the skull key. It didn't start a quest for me though.. should it? I was able to buy some gear from adventure guild though, but we both missed stardrop.

Also i'll take the chance to grats on the multiplayer otherwise. We have a US to EU connection here with 0 lag or crashes so far, no timing issues that some players seem to say. Very pleasant.

Encountered 2 noteworthy issues after rehosting a world which had been successfully saved before closing.
Farmhand (P2) who had cracked a bunch of geodes and dug up a number of items and then donated them. Upon rehost, the items were not on display when they went to add more donations. I (Host) confirmed the items not appearing in the museum and noticed that I did not have the melon reward available but did have the cauliflower reward to pick up due to the items donated `after` rehosting the session.
Edit: P2 says that he likely had reorganized a number of the items after initial placement and items which hadn't been moved may have survived the bugged vanishing.

Farmhand (P3) reported that upon connecting after rehosting the game, that a number of items (confirmed via screenshots in discord) seemed to be missing icons but were still functional. Only realized because of the watering can's fill bar. https://media.discordapp.net/attach...995573387265/unknown.png?width=942&height=530

Less certain, but I could have sworn I had a stack of spring seeds go missing after rehosting the game as well, so the inventory loss may have been more extensive than I immediately realized.

                          Note:
The world was properly saved via sleeping for the night before the hosted session was brought offline and then the client was closed for a couple hours before opening the game client again and rehosting the world.

Possible temporary fix for anyone having desync issues (lag, clocks aren’t synced, seeing people do things minutes after they’ve already done it, etc)

I set up a LAN network by using Hamachi and had people connect thru LAN. All players need to use Hamachi and have it open so they can connect with the IP and join the LAN way. My friend set it up for me this way and said it’s basically acting like we’re all in the same house so the connection is less iffy than being however many miles apart we actually are. So far we haven’t had many desync issues since doing so. Other than that, you can probably try restarting the server once an hour maybe to give it a refresh which should get everyone’s clocks back on the same time. Not too sure about that I didn’t test it but I’m assuming it may help.

I am sort of new to this bug reporting thing so please bear with me. I had a few bugs happen to me and a friend last night when we played the multiplayer version Stardew Valley: The first was a slight audio bug where you can hear everything one of your friends is doing, whether it is walking, fishing, chopping trees, or even cutting down fields of grass. I am not sure if it was intentional, but i figured it was good to point it out. Secondly, my friend disconnected from the server/my farmstead due to poor connection or the like, and the first quest where you talked to people became glitched and he was unable to progress in the quest to complete it. Unfortunately, I don't have anything to show the bug occurring, but maybe someone else experienced something similar. The last bug I found involved Willy the Fisherman/Merchant. When I was fishing at night and somehow my friend who walked by accidentally threw his fishing rod the opposite direction of the water, and I think talked to him on relatively the same frame, and his fishing pole became a different sprite from what it should be. That's all me and my friend found for now, thanks for making this update! It has been a blast so far!

I have these same bugs. I've also noticed when the non-host rearranges the artifacts, the artifacts disappear from the museum so neither of us can see them anymore. And, for the community bundles, only I (the host) can scroll through the different bundle pages in the community bundle tab under the player menu; non-players are only able to see the other pages when they're in the community center.

I've encountered a couple of issues playing with a friend, with her hosting. We haven't played long, so sorry there isn't more information. I was playing v1.3.8 on a Windows 10, and my friend was on a Mac although I'm not sure of any more specifics than that. None of these issues caused the game to crash or freeze.

                                  - When both of us were fighting the same enemy in the mines, a ladder spawned on defeat. I got stuck in the ladder and couldn't move, but I could click to use the ladder. Specifically, the enemy was the slime with a star on its head, if helpful.

                                  - Despite going to bed at the same time and having no other reasons for exhaustion, my friend woke up with full stamina, and I woke up about 100 points lower. We both went to bed basically at 1:50AM, so I'm not sure if maybe my clock kept counting down for the day while she was viewing her level up screens and such, or if it was something else. I didn't notice whether this happened on other days.

                                  - I'm not sure if this is intentional, but I got teleported from the farm, while moving items in and out of a chest, to the center of town when my friend triggered the community center cutscene. I don't think any of the items I was organizing were lost in the process. During the cutscenes that trigger when you exit your house in the morning, I was also teleported outside my friend/the host's house, as opposed to outside of my house/the house I had actually walked out of.

                                  - When I went into a map my friend was fishing on, I could see a line all the way across my screen. It turns out it was the line from her fishing pole, and it went away when she retracted the rod. Specifically, I was entering the forest below the farm from the farm. Casting the line after I had already entered the map didn't cause the same issue.

                                  - Items my friend donated to Gunther still show up with the "Gunther may be able to tell you more about this item" description for me. I think they're normal for my friend, and I'm not sure she has the same issue with item's I've donated. Specifically, I noticed this with the earth crystal item.

                                  - Not sure if this is intentional, but I reached level 10 in the mines and got the boots. When my friend went to level 10 later, there was no chest for her to get her own boots.

                                  - Not sure if this is intentional, but we were able to get the museum rewards once each even though the items we donated were cumulative (as in we didn't each need to donate the same thing twice). The same thing doesn't happen for the community center bundles.

                                  - Not sure if this is intentional, but when I picked up an item in the mines (I can't remember what item now, sorry) that gave me a brief explanatory dialogue box, I continued taking damage from nearby enemies while trying to escape the dialogue box.

                                  - Not sure if this is intentional, but we appear to be able to hear each other's sound effects even when not on the same map. As in, if I were in the mines, and my friend was opening and closing a chest on the farm, I could hear it. Both of us were playing on headphones, so we weren't hearing each other's actual audio.

                                  - When opening a menu while moving or as I was stopping, the running sounds would still play while the menu was open, although my character did not continue to move in the background. Closing the window and opening it again (probably usually with the ESC key for both actions) made the sound stop. This happened multiple times.

We only got to about day 8, and this is just what I remember from one play session last night, so sorry if it's not that helpful! I also skimmed around only briefly for similar bugs or reports, and didn't find anything, so sorry for any duplicates reported here. Also, hopefully it's ok to report all of these here rather than in a thread, since there are multiple and they're not that detailed individually. The game's been really fun to play co-op so far, and I look forward to more!

On the Second day of fall, Year 6. Planted most crops on Day 1 and came across no issues. Went to day 2 and as soon as I try to plant anything (have tried yams, wheat and the purple wheat [can't remember name]) the game freezes and locks up. I have been able to interact with children and wife no problem as well as collect iridium ore. Haven't tried to interact with animals yet.

I found a workaround for those who do not get treasurechests every 10 levels in the mine. In a save file where the mine is working, first ctr+f for <mine_permanentMineChanges> and copy from mine_permanentMineChanges> till </minecartHighScore and replace the whole part in the corrupted file. Then change <deepestMineLevel> to the level on which you are in the working save file. Hope this helps
