The Forest and Wilderness maps are looking better and better! I see bats and some sort of golem wandering the farm. And the little forested area is very similar in appearance to the Secret Woods, which I know will make Luthien happy!
Indeed it does! I saw that picture and went ooooh! (Following the link now, disregard me asking about it in the other thread. lol)
I am especially intrigued by the mention of a 'unique type of weed that spawns on the farm'. As this map is intended for foraging, that will almost certainly be something edible for healing/energy, that gives a skill/stat buff, or both!
Oh god...now I am not so sure about the fish farm... ugh, forest or fish?! ZEUS!! WAIT IN THE ETHER! I HAVE NOT MADE MY MIND JUST YET!! I think ill just do the sensible thing and go forest... it looks so pretty
what? everybody fishes for forage these days! those hobbits with smoking pipes told me! edit: that farm... now imagine if the secret forest was like an alternate mine, cut logs, find door, go to next secret forest area (randomized like the mines) to harvest hardwood and forage! and monster loot of course.
I just want to know one thing. Can I have Ents on my forest farm? >u> Cuz THAT would be top notch. There I would be, harvesting my crops, and suddenly a deep rumbling BAROOM from the trees behind me. Its one of the Ents, mildly perturbed because his branches are crawling with Junimo and dammit, they tickle!
Those hardwood stumps in the Secret Woods? Those are Ents. And they're trying to regrow, which is why they regenerate. If you'd just leave them alone for a few hundred years...
Oh. Oh no. Now I feel bad for the entire stack of hardwood sitting in the chest in my greenhouse. Maybe that's why the spirits are always angry. *slowly lowers her axe*
I'm loving all this new news. It just makes me more and more excited. The Wilderness sounds really cool, so I'll definitely be doing that one with the Abby. And then.. I'm thinking riverside with Shane. It's gonna be amazin
I'm torn between default for all the land and wilderness for what looks like a large but not huge lake, plus a little danger...
