I don't think you can, without making a mod for your client. Unlike guns and swords, drills and picks are not generated game items. They are premade. So they do not come with stats you can modify in your player save.

if you want to modify your picks and drills you need to make a mod and change the stats for the pickaxe.miningtool file in the assets/items/tools/ folder. (though its now in the pak.

    Hi everyone,

I am about to remove starcheat from this site and I've already taken down the starcheat.org wiki. I originally made starcheat because it was fun, now I dread every day looking at this site because of the constant complaints from entitled teenagers. The final straw for me was the 2 users in the starcheat reviews who are claiming I distribute malware with starcheat, that is a load of shit and one of the most disrespectful things I've heard in my life. I'm done, I'm out.

    • Can I still use starcheat?
Yes you can, thanks to the magic of open source, starcheat will remain on github and is still available. The difference is I'll no longer be providing any pre-built binaries, except the Mac one, which is built automatically and hosted on github. If you want to use starcheat, there is a README with build instructions that any idiot can follow if they spend 5 minutes actually looking at it.
    • Will starcheat ever be updated?
Maybe. I don't know. There are a few contributors on github still submitting patches and I might update it myself if I start playing Starbound again. Absolutely no promises though.
    • starcheat doesn't work
Learn python and submit a patch. Welcome to open source.
    • Where are the guides?
I have uploaded an archive of the wiki articles here.
    • Can I upload my own binaries somewhere? Can I put starcheat back on this site myself?
starcheat is released under the MIT license. You are basically free to do whatever you want with it. I have no problem if someone wants to continue putting releases up on this site but be warned it turns into an almost thankless job if you don't devote your entire life to it and pander to everyone who complains.
I did want to say one last thing: THANK YOU to all the people who told me they enjoyed my work, the people who submitted actual bug reports and the people who have contributed in any way to starcheat. I appreciate it more than you can imagine and I had a great time during the first stages of development. It's a shame the praise is drowned out by people who can't read documentation or be bothered to investigate errors on their own.

    Bye
