Starbound Weapons

Dual pistols or laser pistols, effective ones, not novelty starter stuff that most games make outta them.
A weapon that you can laser tag a target and call a bombardment from you ship

 

.50 cal assault rifle
Other than that I certainly would like a laser bow of sorts

 

That Would be cool If you could actually use it for defense and attacking instead of it adding defense stats.

 

dont ask me where it is ... but in one of the daily they said shield has a bashing attack
so the only question left is if i can use 2 shields ^^ but i doubt it

 

I want a lava gun. Like a super soaker but lava instead of water.

 

There needs to be some kind of unarmed combat. I don't know if they'll end up doing it, but some kind of martial arts seems appropriate

 

Maybe more like power fists etc

 

THIS! I want also add a combo meter when your fighting so PvP and just beating up monsters would never get dull

 

A missile launcher that shoots the missile straight upwards and then the missile crashes down on the target. And if the missile had a shaped charge... raining melted metal anyone?

 

The Penguins umbrella, you know the machine gun one
A mega buster that when shot at different blocks, will produce different attacks, like sand = mini sandstorm, ice=freezing attack, lava=fireballs
And a floran weapon that looks like a huge uprooted thorny stem, that when fired goes into the ground and up comes a huge spikey vine at where you aimed

 

hopefully there are several terrain Weapons(similar to sand gun in terraria) which fire or destroy terrain as well as disperse damage. I'd also be curious to see how long it takes the community to make an Avatar: The Last Air bender style weapon mod, where a player can 'equip' one of the four elements (fire would spew lava, Earth would raise pillars of Dirt, Water would blast a spray of water, wind would knock players back...)

 

Weapons that cause damage of course this is just an assumption.

 

Haha That would make building so much easier if I could earth bend

 

Oh god yes. I hadn't considered a combo meter :O

 

I'd like to see some futuristic gloves that give you the ability to shoot blasts/waves of energy at enemies. (This being a logical way to make a reference to Dragon Ball Z> )

 

A harpoon gun that will suck in a enemy if shot at. When it gets close to you you can use the gun in your other hand to shoot it for a while

 

a gun that shoots out a little flag with bang written on it...yeah that would be sweet.

 

Right!! Wouldn't that be awesome have the melee weapon knock something in the air and have the secondary a weapon and shoot them in the air for combos!!! :0

All these gun ideas is making me think how would a gravity gun work in starbound?

 

How about a penguin gun that shoots penguins out of it? Lol
