inviolate sounds pretty awesome.

 

I am, simply put, awestruck. Curtis Schweitzer has done amazing work composing these. The music is very powerful, and very beautiful, and very much beyond expectations, which quite frankly I didn't think was possible, but, there you go

 

2/3 into the list. Still amazing. ^^

I don't see anything wrong with it as long your not saying it's your own... but don't take my word for it.

 

I'm going to put these sounds into some other good games I have, that have considerably blander soundtracks

Or you guys can use a browser extension such as DownThemAll for Firefox... it works quite well.

 

It would be nice if all the music was about the same sound level. I'm listening to Altair, then get my ears blown out by Glitch.

Glitch and Inviolate were written much earlier, in Spring 2012, so they use a completely different aesthetic. Normalizing all the tracks will hopefully happen either procedurally or by hand. Sorry for your ears!

 

That explains the volume differences. Glitch didn't surprise me, but Inviolate did at the start haha.

I must say, sir, your music is fantastic. I am definitely a fan now, you make some catchy and often utterly beautiful arrangements. I have a brother that composes music too (Makkon06 on Youtube), he's heard your music and is just blown away...and it's what has piqued his interest in Starbound.
