Starbound Soundtrack Discussion

Here are some questions to think about, post your answers about the Starbound soundtrack (comes with the pre-order).

1. What are your favorite songs?
My answer: I like Atlas and Ultramarine .

2. Which songs do you think will be for what?

Also feel free to discuss anything else related to the Starbound soundtrack.

 

I really like On the Beach at Night
Its really relaxing to me

 

i like the battle music they sound very different from the rest......and sorry to be painfully honest.....they all sound the same except each has a different theme to it(except the battle music...that sounds different)

 

I think my favorite song would definitely be Mira. Its just so peaceful and relaxing!

 

Vast. Immortal. Suns. Alternatively, Atlas.

 

I like vast immortal suns, casiopeia and atlas alot *---*
i think they fit, respectively;
- an intro/credts cutscene
- fire planet
- arrival on a new planet

 

Casiopeia is a good one too. They each have considerable cinematic potential.

 

1) Hard to say, but Large Magellanic Cloud for its really calm, spacey sound; On The Beach at Night for being just beautiful; and Vast, Immortal Suns for the brilliance and power. Atlas and Mira are also really good!

2) Not sure! Apart from what's already been said, Eridanus-Supervoid totally sounds like a desert planet exploration theme to me, though!

 

Yeah, I agree Casiopeia is one of my top songs in the soundtrack, has this nice drum beat that I like. Now my favorite two songs period is actually both forest battles in the experimental tracks, can't say really why I just love listening to them.

 

Thanks for making this thread. I have yet to see one of this nature.

 

1. Epsilon Indi, Mira, Tranquility Base and Large Magellanic Cloud

2.The named ones like - Atlas, Epsilon Indi etc. will probably be on specific types of planets.The others would be for exploration in caves and the likes.
