When you change the quest, then you have to abandon it and then pick it up again. It should work like that[DOUBLEPOST=1443952709][/DOUBLEPOST]

You have to finish the Ancient Research Station quest line to get it

 

OK. Cross my figures and hope I can find these quests.

 

1. You go to Ancient star sistem
2. Go to the warp gate
3. At the console select Ancient Research Center
4. Find the quest giver and do the quests

 

Oh thanks. BTW you should look into reintegrating crafting recipes for spawners. They were removed with the Pleased Giraffe update and as I have learned some of your missions seem to require them.

Commander Jesse spawned naked, as his supposed 'Tier 9' equipment are now the Tier 6 Separator human armors.

 

Most of the spawners are borked; they're using scripts that aren't in use anymore.

 

A lot of them seem to work still though.

 

My Robot and the Ancient Outpost Architect won't load for me, anyway.

That's true. I was kinda talking about the legitimate spawners not the modded ones.

 

Fixing the spawners should be easy enough if someone has an older version of the assets. I keep ragequitting starbound to focus on work and wiping my folders, so I don't have backups. LOL.
If someone has these assets I could probably poke around to see if I could get the spawners working again. Just reinsert the functions and objects, rename where applicable and whatever.

The merchant bug is a toughie though, since I don't really understand LUA yet. At the moment the underground merchants and those placed by the mod are fine, but not any of the vanilla merchants. And beware that the mod-spawned infinity express and terra-mart will crash your game if you use them, something about the frogmerchant interface.

 

Hi, I absolutely LOVE this mod, it makes everything in here very exciting. However, i keep encountering a problem, and i was wondering if it was something anybody else was having or just me.
So with 2 important missions now,(a mission to resurrect a rabbit god involving hard monster plates, and the ancient research station quest involving ancient armor) I would be completing the missions up to that point no problem. However, once i got to the missions i mentioned, And i gathered the materials/put on the armor requested, the npc which requested it doesn't acknowledge that i have, and that keeps me from completing the mission. I have even tried quitting the quest, then re-accepting it. It still didn't work.
If anybody else has been experiencing this problem, Or if anybody knows a solution to it, I would greatly appreciate it.

Hey, I had the same issue with the bunny altar. I'm guessing it's the same with the other mission. The reason they won't accept is because in the quest files, the itemID name is not correct. If you have notepad++ you can just open altarbunny3.questtemplate and change the item to 'monsterplating'. Not sure about the other one as I haven't come across it but if the quest requires you to use vanilla items, you can look up the itemID here https://starbounditems.herokuapp.com/ If not, you can just browse through the files for the correct itemID and replace it in the questtemplate file. After you've made changes, you'll have to abandon the quest and start again to get it to work. Hope this helps

If we could just get the old merchant.lua and npc.lua, they could be renamed and added to the mod. Would just need to change the npc files that are broken to reference the old ones.

 

Mimaah is correct for the first one, which is thankfully an easy fix. I just looked into the ancient armor quest from the research station and it's looking for questTags "ancientarmor", which is on all the armors from there, so I'm not quite sure what is not matching up here.

 

The clothes show up as costing 0 pixels and are unbuyable. Bunny ressurection is broken too(there i said it. 200th time maybe). Other than that, i love this mod. Brings so much life to the universe.

Strange..i placed that Merchant in my Outpost..after a while i beamed down to the spawner..the spawner is gone and the merchant is missing too...he isnt running around somewhere,he is just gone
And i cant craft his spawner at any kind of craft station..i learnt the recipe..but where can i craft him?
