Hi! I'm having a problem trying to start a server. But after it finishes fort forwarding. This happens!

Info: UniverseServer: Starting UniverseServer with UUID:
Info: UniverseServer: Stopping world CelestialWorld due to inactivity
Info: UniverseServer: World thread has stopped due to inactivity, removing world

I heard its normal. But when I try to join it, nothing happens. Anyone know why? Thx.

How are you trying to join it? Are you hosting the server locally (on the same machine or LAN) or are you renting one?

Yeah. My friend and I are sharing the same network.

When you say nothing happens, are you having trouble connecting or do you connect successfully and don't see anything?

I have trouble connecting. It says (Failed to connect to [My IP])

If you're running the server on your machine, are you connecting to 127.0.0.1?

    No?

If you're running the server on the same machine as you're running (one of) the client(s) on, you should connect to 127.0.0.1 and have anyone on your LAN connect to your LAN IP (what you see when you run "ipconfig" in a command prompt).

Bingo! It works for me! I'll tell you if it works for my friend :)[DOUBLEPOST=1430717427][/DOUBLEPOST]
Also, do I have to port forward? There's an option to turn it off and my friend and I are using the same network.

No, just leave that alone. Start the server and you are good to go for LAN play.

How about when you are trying to have a non LAN connection. I followed some guides have my port forward set, edited the page in the game file but when I run server config in win64 or 32 it comes back with removing world I dont get what i am doing wrong.

Does anyone know any guides for the may 1st patch?!
