Best of Luck with the ship downgrade! That would be super awesome. The only Minus is, you would always need to erase all of your stuff from the "bigger" shipworld beforehand. I already tried by placing a smaller Tier ship in at a later stage.

 

I'm looking for a catchier name for this mod. Suggest!

Having a bit of trouble with this mod. It starts well enough, I try to upgrade my ship and I start with the smallest one and try to work my way up. Instead my game crashes after the second upgrade.

For some reason my Starbound keeps crashing when I open it w/ your mod. It says that there is an error w/ the ai.config file...

 

Could you give me some more details?
What other mods are you using?
DirectX or OpenGL?
Custom race?

 

This mod is great! Especially because you can still do the beginning stuff if you want to, but its optional now.

However, while this is (for me) needed to enjoy starbound (I like making different races, and doing the beginning each time gets boring after the 7th time (done the beginning 9 times now lol). However, like someone else recently said...

This isn't compatible with the Your Crew mod And that is also needed for me to enjoy the game.

Which means, I'll have to wait to play Starbound when Your Crew is compatible.

But, from what I saw...this is amazing Plus I got even more custom races, so now even more alts when the Your Crew also works with this.

EDIT: Actually, turns out it's already compatible. Just pickup the quest from the satellite dish at the Outpost.

 

Awesome! I didn't know that was it. Actually, I think I had to do that when I had my first character...and then totally forgot xD Sorry But, great! Maybe my horrible memory can help others who also use that mod lol

I tested the patch on the latest version of Starbound and didn't have an issue. You may have another mod that's conflicting with SBQS.
