I find this post a bit condescending. Me? Should try to be a knucklehead? It comes naturally to me. I hesitate to even think what would happen if I actually tried.

 

no your right it is not unreasonable to want updates BUT at no time did we pay for updates every x number of days we do get updates

Oh I agree whole heartedly. I actually respect how imaginatively some are able to skew the most innocent of situations in to the end of the world.
A lot of wasted potential, politics is calling!!

 

I read this as "politics is culling!" and was extremely excited. And then I re-read it and became sad.

 

Politics is like curling. A whole bunch of guys doing something that makes no sense for reasons only known to themselves.

 

All correct, except the last part. Most politicians don't even know why they're doing it other than for the votes.

I really hope this game doesn't die slowly just like every other early access project where the developers assure it will become better and they are just in a difficult situation .. I don't wont this game to still be beta in a year or so + I'm tired of bughunting

 

Small updates are better than nothing, considering that you are satisfying a much larger need, that is, you're showing the community you ARE still working and not just idly sitting by on your asses. Even if it's small things, it shows you ARE working. Those claiming they only want game-changing updates are just being impatient. Developing a game takes A LONG ASS TIME, and even though I haven't been watching the game progression very much, I still think you guys, the dev team, are doing AMAZING WORK. To be honest, I completely forgot the game was still in beta. Especially beta stage 1. I can't imagine what kind of game it'll be in a full version. This is just...mind-blowing! I've never seen anything like this game before, and it's truly saddening that people only expect more and more. Please, keep up the good work. Take your time. The game is immensely fun as it is, if you play it properly. If you choose not to play it, you have no right to complain it's taking to long, considering it's fully playable as-is. And if you choose not to use mods, once again, you have no right to complain. You have the option of making it more fun and interactive, yet choose not to. It's your own fault you aren't enjoying the game. Quit acting like the devs should put every waking moment towards a game.

 

Not to mention there's no issues with communication with other developers when you are not sharing a workload. A One man team knows everything about the game and what is going on. In multiple developers, they have to meet regularly to make sure they all know what has been finished and what has not.

 

Ok Ok, Well 2 things that I'm REALLY PISSED about in this update is that on my cousin's mac (we Were Going to play on a server) it will just continueslly crash every time he trys starting the launcher!! he reinstalled it about 10 times and it loops around to the notification ( UNEXPECTED ERROR ) <---- Really? It says COMPATIBLE! #2 is that YOU ARE REQUIRED TO USE STEAM SERVICE TO MOD!!!!!! AND IF NOT: I NEVER GOT THE GAME FILE! This game may be beta but this is just discraceful. Good Game But If anything FIX THIS!!!!!

 

Working fine on mine. You don't need steam at all either.

 

Please address specific concerns on the Support section of the forum in future instead of cluttering up this thread with off topic posts. Someone there will hopefully be able to help you with your compatability issues, I know that a particular version of Mac OS has trouble running the game, I can't remember which one, but maybe thats the version your friend is using. As for #2. This is Beta. At the moment Steam is the only way to play the game, but on full release we will be able to play the game without Steam if we choose to.

 

i'm not gonna complaign anytime soon since there is only 1 feature i am truly waiting on (aka novakids) so till than im just gonna keep being a random race and patiantlly watching the updates as they come keep up te good work

Not true at all. You can run the executable directly and without steam running.

 

You cannot download the executable without steam though. What I said wasn't wrong you're just arguing semantics.

 

We were arguing about them releasing updated information, not game patches. You may want to read my first post on page 11(?) to see the beginning. I wouldn't advise it though. It just turned into me and someone else arguing our uses of "Obligated".

 

The knucklehead in me soooo wants to make a fisting joke. But I'm not because I'm above that.

I'm not above alluding to it, though.
